DO NOT BUY
- Pros: none
- Cons: everything. does not come with a power cable. also when you plug in the keyboard and mouse the main computer you hook it up to does not recognize the keyboard nor the mouse. when you go to their site the web browser comes up saying it is a shady site, and that you should not go any farther. its a piece of cr*ap. DO NOT BUY THIS. go with IOgear. it will not fail you
- Other Thoughts: im not surprised if i didnt find a piece of pooh in a box when i opened it. cuz thats this is.
It works just like i wanted it to
- Pros: I am using this just to change monitors, not keyboards, could not use A/C adapter to get it to work but a PS/2 Spliter did the trick to give it an empty keyboard input for power.
- Cons: A/C adapter doesn't come with it, I knew that, but could not get any adapters to work with it with out the keyboard power.
Flaky
- Pros: None
- Cons: Keyboard recognition is intermittent at best (and it usually doesn't work at all). I tried six completely different keyboards (different layouts, different manufacturers, some wired, some wireless, etc). I also added an external power supply as the manual suggests (claiming that a keyboard may not supply enough power). Also, as another poster observed, the video signal is very noisy with lots of ghosting.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this in 2006 and only just now got around to using it, which is unfortunate because I'd return it for a refund if I could. I also found it interesting that Firefox reports the Newegg links to the Zonet website as a known source of exploits...
