Not the best, but still great
- Pros: It has link lights for every port (what switch doesnt), it's rack mountable and has full 200Mb functionality.
- Cons: The rack mounting kit seems just a bit flimsy, it comes with two L brackets and the ports are all centered on the switch instead of a straight row fashion, which requires different length cables if you're installing it next to a patch panel, not too much trouble, just looks messy when some cables are streched and others are left with too much slack.
- Other Thoughts: I wish the LEDs were on each seperate port instead of in one area, it would make it look much more professional.
Sturdy, Great Price, 5 yr Warranty
- Pros: Sturdy steel shell. Rackmount option. 24 ports at a great price. 5 year warranty.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: Like another reviewer had said, it would be nice to have status lights on the front and ports on the back. But if you have to troubleshoot a connection its much easier to have everything on the front, especially if you have to walk behind the rack every time.
Works Great!!!
- Pros: Great have used this switch since 2002 and still going strong. Have used it for LAN parties at least once a month.
- Cons: Wish all the connections were in the back of the unit and only the LEDS were in the front.
- Other Thoughts: If I ever have to buy another 24 port switch I will be buying one of these.
