2 out of 5 eggsAvoid NZXT

Pros: Great if you wish to run a decent processor and a single video card.

Cons: Do not buy this for a high end SLI rig. There is not enough amps on the rails to sucsessfuly run anything greater than 8600's if that even runs stable.

Other Thoughts: I've tried this PSU with 6400+, 2-4 gig Crucial balistix, 2 160 WD SATAII's, EVGA 8800gt's SLI'd...NOT, one works fine but not enough amps to power 2 SLI'd.

1 out of 5 eggsdied on the table

Pros: works real good for a few weeks

Cons: died after just a few weeks of use. shut it off and oh no it won't come back on. psu fried

Other Thoughts: nzxt is sending me another unit and it is free of charge. they live up to the warranty, mayby i just got a bad apple, time will tell, i'm building another gamming pc and will use it in that, won't take a chance in my mutant gamming pc with another one of these agian oh and before you buy a psu chech the combined output of the 12vrails to insure it can handle sli or crossfire happy gamming

2 out of 5 eggsNZXT PRECISE 850 like 650?

Pros: Cable Length, ATX compatibility with PCI Express Power connection and extra FAN cables.

Cons: As a previous user had experienced, I too was playing a 3D game - room temp 90, case temp 35C. (Loud pop sound - suspect CAP/Diode; PC dead). Recommend another maker of Switch Mode P/S.

Other Thoughts: NOTE: This P/S I have which is the 650 was not under full load.

4 out of 5 eggsA notice to all who will buy

Pros: read other thoughts

Cons: read other thoughts

Other Thoughts: Amperage = wattage/ voltage, so low amperage on a volt rail = less pwer distributed to devices on that rail. This has 20amps on 6 12volt rails. That leaves very little power to be used anywhere else. 12 volt rails are used by CPU/ GPU making this a 100% gaming PSU. Dont think that you can run mutch else other than your dual core CPU and 8800SLIs, because of the lack of amperage (wattage/ voltage) on other rails. Now who thinks amperage should be blown off? If you do want to have many HDs, CD drives, etc, get a power supply w/ lots of amperage on the 5 and 3V rails. Ignorance is a big problem, if you dont know what to look for DONT BUY!

5 out of 5 eggsSmart People...

Pros: Option to combine the 12v rails, 850w... modular cables, not too expensive

Cons: not 100% modular? not free?

Other Thoughts: The guy below me isn't very intelligent... he tried to run dual 8800s multiple hard drives, a WC setup, and all kinds of peripherals all on an 850W.... if he was planning on getting a l33t rig like that, he shouldve gotten a 1000w... this power supply is great, and he probably got his load balancing wrong

1 out of 5 eggsBOOM

Pros: Nice blue light, plenty of cable length even for larger cases

Cons: BOOM, thats what happened after about 2 weeks of use. I had been playing a 3-d game for about 3 hours when this power supply suddenly BLEW UP! Hopefully it did not damage any of my high end components. I wont know until my new one arrives. (It isnt a NZXT)

Other Thoughts: My system: Asus striker extreme, qx6700, 2 gigs mushkin DDR2, 2x evga 8800gtx in sli, raptor 10k 150 gig boot hd, 2x 500 gig storage hd, coolermaster aquagate mini 120 cpu cooling, Coolermaster ammo case.
