5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Power Supply

Pros: This is an incredible power supply. It is a Super Flower, it is among the best available in this power range. It is also a very attractive power supply, it was very unique until other suppliers took notice and now there are a bunch of white copycat units available. But there aren't any that are better than this one.

It is almost fully modular, the 24 pin and the 4+4 12V ATX are the only hard wired cables. The other cables are flat and easy to manipulate and hide in your case. No wrestling with stiff and uncooperative cables with cheap sleeving. As a side note, I was even able to mod the SATA cables (single sleeve) which is pretty much impossible with other power supplies.

5 year warranty, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find in power supplies lately.

Cons: It is a little pricey, but for NZXT case owners its a no-brainer. Also gold certification is not cheap, it is well worth the price considering the amazing quality.

The cables were tough to mod, but that is just a testament to the quality of the connectors. Overall I have been extremely pleased working with this PSU.

Other Thoughts: If you have an NZXT case, then you're only choice really is to go with the 750W or 850W model. In my case, I wish I had opted for the 850W unit but this will certainly power two high end graphics cards which is all that really matters.

I did not purchase this from newegg, but I can recommend this PSU without reservation. NZXT is a great company and really takes care of their customers. You won't be sorry.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nicely colored black and white.
Flat and long cables with plenty of plugs.
Well packaged and well manufactured.
Stays within acceptable voltage tolerances and is actually as efficient as it says.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Effectively, this is a PSU that doesn't it's job admirably. Cables reach all the places it needs to in my full ATX case. At this wattage level could easily handle dual graphic card machines. Also it doesn't come with crazy number of lighted up fans. (Which is a good thing).

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Pros? What can I say, it came super fast thanks to New egg and it's working fantastic in my case. Powers everything and really gives my computer everything it needs, the fact that there aren't a bunch of wires in my case hanging around is great too.

Cons: Non so far

Other Thoughts: The white color is very nice in my case e.e also great that the package in the box came with enough wires overall and I hadn't needed anymore then was in there.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome power supply

Pros: This is an awesome power supply. The modular design makes it very easy to keep wire clutter to a minimum. The extra wires are kept in a convenient bag so that, should I need to upgrade something or add a new piece of hardware that requires the PSU, I can simply get out the needed cable and I'm good to go. The slots are all easily interchangeable and the point they connect to makes no difference so use whichever is most convenient for you. The 92% efficiency really helps on the electric bill as well, especially if you use your computer a lot. I have never encountered any problems with it. It even comes with handy, easy-to-use installation screws.

Cons: The only weak point I can see is that the cable for SATA devices is a tad too short making me unable to connect my CD/DVD burner combo drive with all my hard drives because it comes a single inch short - an extra 2 inches for those would have done well. Luckily 2 such cables are provided so I'm good to go. This is a very minor issue though... unless you have a lot of SATA devices.

Other Thoughts: I got this power supply to replace a 5-year-old 500-watt PSU that was inadequate for the hardware upgrades I had in mind. So far, I've never run into problems with it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellently Quiet

Pros: *Modular
*Flat Cables
*Quiet Fan
*Low Vdroop
*White Housing

Cons: *Only two sets of four SATA cables, which means if you're like me and want to run 6x HDD's and 2x optical drives in a Corsair 600T case you're out of luck.

Other Thoughts: Runs my system just fine with no whine even at full load:
Intel Core i7-2600k - Thermaltake Frio
ASRock Z68 Extreme4
8GB Mushkin Blackline Enhanced 7-8-7-24 1T
3x SanDisk Ultra 120GB SSD's
Seagate 1.5TB Barracuda
Seagate 320GB Barracuda
Seagate 640GB Momentus
2x ATI HD 4850's in Xfire (AMD HD 7950 soon)

5 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: Nice and clean. Good PSU. Does everything I need.

Cons: Do not know why I would need 4 power attachments for graphics cards.

Other Thoughts: Wish included cables would have been dedicated for case fans (3pin connector). But what PSU manufacturer would think that would be useful?

3 out of 5 eggsAfter 1 year.

Pros: Well since I didn't say much on my first review of this PSU, here are some thoughts after a year of use. I bought this one because I bought white NZXT Phantom case, and well what was better than a white PSU from the same brand. Modular design, long cables for a full tower with lots of cable management make this a great buy.

Cons: Well here we go! After a year of use in the PSU it went down. I think a bad Video card blew the PSU, motherboard, and I hope nothing more but am still in the process to find out. I send my 890FXA-GD70 MSI motherboard to MSI to be check and the XFX 6870 2gb to Newegg to be RMA, like always great service from those companies but I send the power supply to NZXT and has been almost 3 weeks and no news what so ever. I had to send them 2 different emails so they can finally send me a notification stating that they got the power supply. So am sitting here no PC because NXZT has no send the PSU yet...
All I said it's not a bad product but the costumer service its lacking.

Other Thoughts: Well am already thinking in buying another brand of PSU and even upgrade to a 1200w PSU.
My initial set up has change to:
NZXT Phantom White
Corsair Ballistix Smart Tracer 8Gb 1600
AMD Phenom II x6 1090 T
XFX 6870 2gb
Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb x3
NXZT Halo 750w = (

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: Quiet.

Cons: Since I have to list something in this category...

- Some cables are too long for an ATX Medium case: my HDDs are 3 inches away from the PSU, and the cable is over a foot long.
- It's white.

Other Thoughts: I've had unusual bad luck with 750W power supplies, but I finally found one that works! I actually like the fact that the motherboard, CPU, and 1 PCIe cable are non-modular: why would you buy a 750W power supply if you didn't have at least 1 power-hungry PCIe card? Everything is easy to connect: any connector goes into any available plug. I'll update this review if something happens; but for now, I'm happy.

5 out of 5 eggsPrice is high but so is the performance

Pros: Very efficient

Single 12V rail

Nice looking (I know its just white but still...)

Cons: Price is quite high compared to other 750 W psu's

Other Thoughts: Wish the price was lower but since I have many NZXT components already I thought why not add another even if the price is somewhat high
