5 out of 5 eggsInitial Thoughts

Pros: It seems to be working just fine. No problems so far.

-Stays cool
-Bronze Certified
-Inexpensive (even when its not on sale)
-850W
-Strong 12v Rail
-hasn't died yet

Cons: Can't think of any in particular. I've had absolutely no problems with this PSU. The only thing that kinda irked me was it was only semi-modular and not full modular. But since I knew this already its no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Even though I didn't use it, I thought the NZXT Dead on Arrival policy was pretty cool.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking fine

Pros: Semi-modular: mainboard power, EPS, and 2 PCIe are not modular. Cable lengths very long. There are no floppy disk power connectors, which I consider a pro at this point. So far PSU is quieter than the 12cm case fan I have.

Sometimes it's better to go with an established product compared to cutting edge products. In this case, this PSU has a proven record for being quality and is very efficient.

Cons: Modularization could be a little more effective, can't really complain at this price point.

Other Thoughts: If you have a floppy drive, you'll need a plug adapter.

Youtube my nickname and PSU name for a video review.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Lots of wires
Modular
Just plain looks nice

Cons: Lots of wires to hide
All of the wires are the same size - I suggest a bit of cutting, though that voids warranty.

3 out of 5 eggsSeems like a reliable PSU but noise..

Pros: Does what it's supposed to and fairly quiet while idle..

Cons: While under load its another story, it's too loud with a hum. An i7 920, Sapphire 6950, and 3 HDs really shouldn't have been pushing it. It's a little unbearable for me, I will most likely be returning it.

Manufacturer Response:

First of all, We want to thank you for being a customer of NZXT.

We want to apologize that our power supply didnt live up to your standard, but this issue might be just a defective fan or it might get damaged during shipping. if you would please give it another try by using our Less than 3 program at www.nzxt.com/new/less_than_three.php. it is a simple program that you can get an advance replacement just in a few simple steps. please consider this option before you return it.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent PSU

Pros: Fan is quiet

Cons: About 4 Weeks ago, the PSU started making a clicking sounds (very very soft) Turns out its not the fan, sounds like it is coming from inside the PSU itself. Not sure what to do since im past my 30 days with NewEgg. I wonder if I should even bother, still works fine, just has that clicking noise.

Manufacturer Response:

We want to thank you for being a customer of NZXT and we appreciate you taking the time to send your feedback and will continue to strive to make our products better.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

Pros: This is a rebranded Seasonic M12II with solid internals. The semi-modular design is good, and I've always liked the flat modular cables. It does what it's supposed to do. Currently pushing a 2600K - 4.6Ghz @ 1.38v, EVGA GTX 480 w/ 'the mod' - 850Mhz @ 1.1v. I haven't been able to hear the fan at all. The cables were plenty long enough for me in both an Antec 300 and a Xigmatek Asgard Pro, and I didn't have an issue storing the extra PCIe cable. I also like that each PCIe cable had 2 connectors on it, rather than running 2 cables for one video card.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well, good wire casing

Pros: I like the cables' black, flat casing. They were pretty easy to manage and fit through the case.
Semi-modular means that I don't have to worry about too many unnecessary cables.

Cons: I had to hide the second built-in PCI-E power cord, which is not removable. The manufacturer assumes that if you're going to use this power supply you're probably running multiple graphics cards. I do plan on getting a second graphics card in a year or so, but for now I just tucked the extra power cable behind my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: The cables were long enough to reach everything in my large case (Thermaltake Chaser Mk-I), but I wasn't able to route one or two cables the way I would have liked to because they were a bit too short. Not a major problem though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Nicely priced, semi modular, nice long cabling.

Cons: it didn't install itself and hide all the cables. I hate cable managment.

Other Thoughts: Can't complain about this units performance. Its been great so far. 5 year no hassle warranty is a nice reassurance as well.
