5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a Champ on Steriods

Pros: Works great been runing for 1 year maybe more for 24/7 other than ocasional restart once or twice a month. Still going stong and runing crossfire on it without an issue

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: There is more than enough power cables for all my hardrives and the crossfire with plenty of extra length in my nzxt phantom case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: Sleek design and quiet operation paired with a hard-to-find color scheme makes this PSU worth every penny. I don't have many components in my build that require cables, so the full-modular design is a huge bonus.

Cons: My only gripe is the peripheral cables have four connectors per cable, so for builds like mine, it can be a little more cluttered than is necessary. Not a real "con" but noteworthy if you don't need a lot of power connectors.

3 out of 5 eggsI love the clean look

Pros: It is super quite and has a very clean look and its white I got it for that very reason so it would match my case

Cons: well it went out on me after about 3 months of having it and after reading some of the reviews it seems that's something that happens a lot with this power supply
I hope NZXT fixes this soon I want to recommend this to people but if it doesn't work after a few months I cant

1 out of 5 eggsWould not buy again

Pros: Low price for 1000W

Cons: Stopped working after a few months. Computer turns itself off. Replaced with an EVGA 1000W power supply....

I'm extremely disappointed in this unit.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a BFG 800W that I had been using. It was a noticeable improvement until the system started turning itself off...I spent more than $700 on new parts hoping the problem wasn't the (relatively) brand new PSU , but in the new build the problem persisted.... Computer would shut itself off before Windows could even boot...

Replaced with an EVGA SuperNova 1000W and system now boots flawlessly.

3 out of 5 eggsSolid for a while

Pros: Color - Components - Design - Multi Rails -

Cons: Cables - Thought it is a modular power supply the cables are a bit stiff encased in a heavy plastic coating. granted the are durable. they also run a bit short. Making it hard to stretch around a larger case.

First 3 months no problems with the PSU - Today 3mnth 2weeks it failed completely. Waiting on NZXT to decided what to do. In the mean time Ill have to wait .

Other Thoughts: Again the thing that bugs me the most about this product was the cable system, the are a little shorter then Id like. The hard plastic covering is ok - I would have much preferred the Braided System for covering the wires. You can get extenders that are braided for an additional cost.

1 out of 5 eggsABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Pros: This review is to show how broken the NZXT customer service is. This is a running log of my ticket number #SWY-509-56721. I still have not recieved any responce from NZXT. I will not be buying anything from NZXT ever again.

Cons: Posted on: 07 February 2014 03:31 PM

I bought a NZXT HALE90 V2 NP-1GM-1000A 1000W ATX12V from Newegg less than 3 months ago for my fiance for her christmas present. It has always given me issues and now as of today it died. It's dead to the point when I plug it in it does not give any power to the MB at all. Newegg order number #182119657 dated 12-03-2013. Didn't come out of the box until 12-25-13. So it lasted 2 months. This is my 5th gaming computer I have built so I know what to look for and how to troubleshoot. Please Tell me what I need to do to get a replacement coming to me.

I was supposed to get an e-mail with RMA instructions and a shipping label. I would really like to get my fiance's computer back running. She will not be fun to live with if she can't get her WOW fix ;P

Posted on: 10 February 2014 07:12 PM

Still waiting for some contact from NZXT for what you would like me to do about this dead PSU. If you like me to order another one though Newegg.com and I can refund this one to you that would be fine too. I just want a replacement to me ASAP. Please send me a RMA e-mail with shipping instructions soon. Thank you.....

Are you freaking kidding me?

Is there other text on this ticket I am not seeing? The only responses on this ticket are from me. Not Nzxt.

I've had a dead Nzxt 1000W Power supply, which translates to a completely unusable computer, for over 8 days now and I am no closer to getting a new one sent to me than I was 8 days ago when I opened this ticket.

No this issue is not resolved. I still need a replacement 1000W Power supply.

Other Thoughts: Posted on: 18 February 2014 04:59 PM

Three days later... Still Nothing...

Posted on: 22 February 2014 12:04 AM

It is now at 1600 hours on 02-21-2014. Still No reply.

5 out of 5 eggsVery clean and very nice PS

Pros: Enough cables for and connections - very clean looking in a window case. Cables were long enough for a full tower
case. It works.

Cons: None yet. I will tell you in 5 years when the warranty is up.

1 out of 5 eggsDied on me in less than 2 months.. Have to wait for a new one

Pros: Very nice looking design and it is fully modular.

Cons: It gave me issues from the start. Computer kept losing power and rebooting. I changed the cpu power from one CPU connector to another and it tripped my power surge breaker. Now the CPU and the MB lights do not turn on any more.. so Its a completely dead unit.

Other Thoughts: I will be ordering a Next 750 to give them one more shot... But if I have any problems with this next one I will never buy a Next power supply again.

Manufacturer Response:
