5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: Modular
Blue! ^.^

Installing "upside-down" hides the fan's light so my system is a beautiful deep shade of blue everywhere, as well as places the switch above your cable and pushes air out and away (with proper flow setup) instead of over and in to your other hardware. This also puts the cables directly next to my MoBo tray on my case for super cable management!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's my understanding that PSU's only pull as much power as your hardware drains, so if you've got a conservative system but future hopes of a power-hungry setup, then this is viable.

4 out of 5 eggsNOT a single rail supply!

Pros: *Radical awesome design that makes you say Tubular Dude! I take the side panel off my computer and my friends/family just aw in silence xD
*Military inspired METAL circular connectors, that hold tight and provide a solid connection. Much better than the cheesy, older than I am, standard style connectors offered on other modular PSUs
*Dense, well sealed cables (at circular connector end)
*On/Off switch and cable positions well placed for cases that allow you to install your PSU upright or a 180 degree flipped orientation (Mounted at bottom of case, with fan facing down, places the AC cord below the ON/Off switch, and the main board power cable right next to the mobo tray. Very very nice setup)

Cons: *Main non-removable cables could be longer.
*Cables, at the end connectors, sealed decently, but I have seen better (See other thoughts)
*Rails... (See other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: First off, let me point out that I did NOT buy this PSU! Instead, I own a 600w Mach 1, that I bought 2 years ago or so. I almost bought this.

*READ* This is a 6 rail supply. Newegg has it listed as a single rail in the specs, but looking at the unit's spec label, you can see the ratings for rails V1-V6. This situation is the same for N82E16817121040 as well

My 600W Mach 1 has been a wonderful player, and has even taken the punishment of the high loads and 24/7 operation that I have put it through. I've since opened my unit to clean it, and internal construction is very good, with excellent AC filtering. However, multirail for my X79 build is a nono for me.

I really hope Kingwin can step up their designs - creating a fully modular, single rail, Mach 1 supply, with cables that have nice ends, like Ultra-X units (ULT31588) used to have .

I guess until then, I will have to get a (perhaps LZP-1000), my old X connect cables, and mod my 600w Mach 1 as such :)

3 out of 5 eggsDissapointing

Pros: - Nice looking modular wires
- Worked fine for almost two years

Cons: - Failed after 23 months (less than 2 years)

Other Thoughts: The system could not be pushing this PSU that hard
-1 x ASUS P6X58D Premium LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0
-1 x EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Card
- Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
- Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler

Think I will go back to PC Power & Cooling unit

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: I purchased a 500W version for a system 5 years ago, it still runs great today. I picked this one up for my new system. See some slight design changes, pretty happy with it.

Cons: One of the connections on the PSU isn't machined correctly and won't allow me to use and cable in it. -1 egg QA fail.

Other Thoughts: 5 years and counting of 24/7 up time and running minus a reboot once a month my last system is still going strong with this PSU. Great buy,.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great, when it works.....

Pros: it does its job. played games just fine was relatively cool as-well.

Cons: well this is one of the cheapest 1000W PSU's you can buy so i guess you get what you payed for. it worked for me for about a month then next morning turn it on comes on for a second then dead. but it was still under warranty (i hope) so you might want to spend an extra $20-$40 and get a better PSU

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Beautiful product, stable power, SLI Certified as opposed to the more common Ready, and a great modular setup. Makes any blue computer look like the light at the end of the tunnel.

Cons: Only con so far is that the modular cable connecting areas of the back of the PSU only light up blue when a cord is plugged into them, so not as blue as could be, unless you are using all of the cords, in which case the cords would block the LED blueness.

Other Thoughts: Get it for a blue themed computer, otherwise, the efficiency of a gold plus product may be more wise. Works great for me though!

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect.

Pros: No issues whatsoever. Works perfectly day in and day out. Modular design is great. Fans are quite. For those who care about asthetics, the Blue LED's are a nice uniform color.

Cons: Cannot disable LED's. And they are quite bright. It's annoying in a bedroom at night. But might not bother some people.

Other Thoughts: I use this with a 1000w UPS and power conditioner. It has had constant clean signal the entire time I've owned it. It stays on 24/7 as a server, but I also use it for a gaming PC and a media center. Runs two GTX460's in sli, along with an overvoltaged i7 extreme.

Kingwin has a reputation for buying high end internal components and then packaging them in a cost effective manner. Don't be afraid of this "no-name" brand.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like it should

Pros: Works great. I have a haf 922 so this just makes cable management for me even better than it already was. Love the screw in cables.

Cons: The stupid fan is more of a teal color than blue so now all my blue case fans are off from it. Cables are a bit stiff, but whatcha gon do plus I don't have any problem with them with all the space in my case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: 1k watts. Wiring included for all possible setups. Extremely quick when running. All of the wires have matching sleeving.

Cons: zero

Other Thoughts: Very solid with a whisper quiet fan. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
