5 out of 5 eggsGoing on 2 years

Pros: Reliable 850W with single 12V rail
80 Plus Gold Rated
Braided cabling

Cons: The modular connectors are a bit weak, installing a fan into a HAF 922 accidentally pressed the pressure connector leading it to break a little. Still works great though.

Other Thoughts: Been using this PSU for two years powering my X58 build. Haven't had a problem and I feel comfortable recommending it.

Cons: DOA. Thanks to that I missed the launch of a game I've been waiting years for.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Lazer...Its good.

Pros: 1: started up first time, no problems whatsoever.

2: 850 watts:More than I need, but I plan to keep this one for awhile

3:Gold rated!

4: Pretty lights!

5: Innovative modular design.

6: tough cables! (I accidentally got one caught in my exposed fan blades on my CPU, not even a scuff on the ultra-durable material, and the fan still works too!

This thing is incredibly stable compared to my old RAIDMAX 530 watt psu I used to have. No BSOD's from lack of power to components anymore(the rated power decayed with the time i had it, 4 years, it worked well while it worked.)

Cons: It is kind of a high price, given that they have another model for 1 kw at bronze rating for the same price, but I'm done buying cheap psu's.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a PSU to run Twin Graphics card with overclocking room to spare, Get this! Triple is a bit too much for this one tho, rank up to a 1 kw.

By the way, a helpful list to determine your PSU needs:

1 Graphics card=550+

2 Graphics cards= 750+

3 Graphics cards= 1000+

4 Graphics cards= 1200+

Keep in mind, running two GTX 580's is possible with this PSU, but NOT two GTX 590's. One 590 is a REALLY good 700 watter, with two, 1200 watts is the way to go.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product, Bad Manufacturer

Pros: Awesome Power Supply. Modular design makes case wiring a snap. Cables that come with it are high quality and constructed well. LED lighting gives it style.

Cons: Kingwin misrepresented the number of peripheral connectors that come with it. Both on Newegg and Kingwin's website, this power supply was listed as having 9 peripheral connectors. It comes with 5. When I sent an email to Kingwin's tech support to ask why my power supply only came with less than 9 peripheral connectors, they promptly changed their website's product specifications and still have not replied to my email yet.
I would have given a 5/5 rating if not for the dishonest way they've handled my question.

Other Thoughts: I would be nice if they sold additional cables separately so that I could buy more if I need more of a particular connector type...

5 out of 5 eggsStill going...

Pros: 850W
80 Plus Gold
Sleeved cables
Blue LED fan
JonnyGuru score: 9.7
Less expensive than others in it's category

Cons: No switch on LED fan to turn the LED's off.

Other Thoughts: I'm not too keen on the Lazer sticker located on the side or the Kingwin badge located at the center of the fan grill but these are not to detract from the unit's performance.

3 out of 5 eggsburned out

Pros: Good RMA turnaround, no hassle at all.
850w for the price is good
luckily didn't kill any of my other components

Cons: After two months of use I burned out my first unit 10 minutes into a stress test. Screens went blank but system remained powered on and smoke was billowing out of my case.

Other Thoughts: Might be going for an Enermax or Seasonic next time I buy.

Other people looking to buy in this pricerange might be better off getting a similarly priced 750w.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Modular
-80+ Gold Certified
-Very inexpensive, considering its performance is on par with Corsair's AX850
-Fully sleeved cables
-Enough PCIe power cables for three graphics cards
-840w available on the +12v rail
-Hardwired cables make sense; there's nothing wasted

Cons: None, really, although I'm not a fan of the gaudy black and gold cable sleeving and the blue LED. Looks takes the back seat to cost and performance, though.

Other Thoughts: This unit has three hardwired cables:
-4+4 pin CPU power connector
-20+4 ATX connector
-6 pin and 6+2 pin PCIe connectors

It also has a bag containing another eight cables, two of each:
-PCIe 6 pin
-PCIe 6+2 pin
-4x SATA
And one of each:
-2x Molex/2x SATA
-3x Molex/4 pin floppy power

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: 80+ Gold
Lots of Power connectors (I don't care to count them, but I could connect more add-ons than I can afford)
Lots of Power
Very-and I mean VERY well packed
I have yet to hear the fan over the rest of my (admittedly noisy) build.

"And I even like the color."

Cons: Not quite completely modular. While it is fair game to not make the Motherboard or CPU cables fully modular, the PSU includes a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin connector that are not modular. I am not (yet) running SLI or XFire, and my GPU (FirePro v7800) only takes one 6 pin, so that leaves one connector not connected. Also, if you want, for example, 1 Molex connector (same for SATA) then you have to plug in a cable that gives you several. Not a big deal, but I don't like to have connectors dangling.

Other Thoughts: This is really a top notch PSU. If you have the cash and want the power, this is a PSU for you.
