4 out of 5 eggsLoud but seems to work fairly well

Pros: High amount of power, lots of connectors, nice length of cables.

Cons: Extremely loud. Way more connectors than can be used in a machine with the output of it.

Other Thoughts: This thing is extremely loud (Like trust me I've ran all kinds of rigs underneath weak cooling systems like gaming with OEM stock heatsinks for years, and this thing is much louder than anything I've ever heard, literally sounds like the machine is going to die).
As stated in the cons, there are a lot of connectors, makes quite a mess in a micro case which I have this thing currently in for my brother's build. They are nice and it is nice to know you'll never run into real connector issues, but it tends to become quite crowded without lots of cable ties which were not included.
It's not a bad power supply, is supplying the necessary juice to keep a graphics card and a mid-range processor up and running, just make sure sound isn't an issue where the box is located.

5 out of 5 eggsdecent for the price

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to install. Quiet!

Cons: The only real issue I had was that the 4/8 pin plug's cord was almost too short to actually plug into my motherboard. But that's about it.

4 out of 5 eggsCheck the voltage

Pros: Solid little PSU. I have three of them now. Normally not a brand I frequent, but they came in a bundle deal with some Radeon 7950's I bought. They get the job done. There is a steady 425W load on each 24/7, and I haven't had any problems yet.

Cons: Smells like China

Cables are shorter than other brands

Other Thoughts: I have been tinkering with PC's for about 20 years now...long enough to know to check the voltage switch on the back of the PSU before I turn it on. Mine was set to 230V out of the box. Keep that in mind if you pick one of these up. I see plenty of comments regarding DOAs, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that this would be why. Don't ever depend on Chinese QC. As a builder you should always check the little things yourself.

5 out of 5 eggscheap and it works

Pros: Very cheap to purchase. it works rock solid with two video cards mining

Cons: not modular, very ho-hum packaging, short cables for cable management.

Other Thoughts: I have this PSU in a system that is mining cryptocurrencies with a sapphire 6870 and a powercolor 270x devil. both at stock clocks, probably drawing arout 350-400 watts at the wall. its been rock solid ,but time will tell how it holds up...

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: Item was DOA - did not check the item for 32 days was not ready to rebuild my PC until then. Had to RMA thru MFG and shipping cost was $15 due to weight of the item and distance to CA. What a waste - not such a good deal now.

1 out of 5 eggs650w broke after a split second

Pros: None.

Cons: It broke after a split second of turning the computer on.

Other Thoughts: So, I bought this about a month ago, and finally today my final part came in. So me and my friend were building up my pc and the moment of truth turing it on, it died after a split second of being on. So now going to take on the manufacturer and get a new one...

3 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for

Pros: Decently cheap price, runs very cool, isn't loud

Cons: Power fluctuations, goes downhill after a few months

Other Thoughts: I bought this power supply in July 2012, needing at least 400W power and figuring some extra wouldn't go amiss for future upgrades. It worked brilliantly for about three months, had a few hiccups and seemed to drop in output slightly after that, and by 6 months, it was definitely not outputting nearly as much power as it ought to have. The voltage on the +12v rail is now only 8 and a half, and that's when it's running at its best - I've caught it dropping to 5~6 when it's stressed, and this has been going on for about the past four or five months. I bought this to last a while, not to die after a year! I should have gone with the more expensive one I was looking at - you really do get what you pay for, it seems!

5 out of 5 eggsDecent power supply

Pros: I've purchased 8 with no failures or DOA's. Good amount of power on the 12V rail, two PCI-e 6-pin plugs, plenty of SATA connections.

Cons: It's kind of light, which is always a little concerning when it comes to power supplies. But it works fine. I've powered several mid-high end systems with power hungry graphics cards (GTX 560ti, GTX 670, GTX 760) and CPU's. and so far they've done just fine.

Other Thoughts: Good deal when it's on sale for <$50.
