1 out of 5 eggsManufacturer Customer Service Is Horrible

Pros: Cheap

Cons: 1. Worked For 6 Months and then failed.
2. Manufacturer requires customer to pay for return shipping, no reinbursement.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is my favorite computer component provider. I will not, however, purchase another Kingwin product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: I left this running my video encoder pc for 72 hours to make sure it was going to be ok. No problems.

Cons: no cons at this price.

Other Thoughts: The difference between high dollar and low dollar psu's is the rating. A cheap power supply is rated at 750 and if you add all the ratings up on the side it will come up between 800-850 max. An expensive 750 will come up around 1,000 watts if you add up all the ratings on the side. I have a newer house with lots of computers and have experienced lots of power surges and undervolts and have blown way too many power supplies... My experience is that the expensive ones can't handle the over/under volt issues like a cheap one can. For whatever reason, a cheap one will hiss and smell a lot longer and not blow while an expensive one will not give you long to pull the plug. So those cheap capacitors and transistors are good for something!

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD PSU

Pros: CHEAP.
Plenty of plugs and nice heavy gauge wiring is connected to the adapters, even the 24 pin cables are sheathed. By the way for those of you who doubt this baby provides enough power- I run a pair radeon hd 6950's in crossfire and each card uses 2 x 6 pin pci-e adapters. Great for a budget build.

Cons: Nada.

Other Thoughts: Well worth every penny.

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of junk

Pros: Rated at 750W capacity.
Cheap.

Cons: Fails constantly.
Died completely within the first four months of ownership.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this PSU at the beginning of November 2013. It has lasted me until the beginning of March 2014. During that time, I had to replace the fuse in it twice. The load on the PSU is 450W. It's now four months later and the darn thing is completely dead and conveniently out of warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsAlot of power for your buck.

Pros: Want a lot power for your tower without spending a lot of money on a budget build? Look no further as this PSU is probably the one for you. The fan is sufficiently quite for the price as well.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Include the winning lottery numbers in the box.

Pros: - I've had this for little over 2 months, still works great.
- great price
- lots of different connections

Cons: - wish there was a way to disconnect the wires that are not being used, take up a ton of space.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: Works.

Cons: Nothing but trouble from the time I got it. Has been very glitchy, I know hardware normally isn't what is glitchy but this is an exception. The first couple of times when I first built my computer (about a year ago) it only ran the fans and that was it. Pressed the power button, the case fans came on and that was it. Checked the power cords, everything was fine, finally after the 5th try it just turned on. Ever since then it has been like that. Also, this power supply has caught fire before which happened more recently.

Other Thoughts: With all the struggles I have had with this one, I am never buying another kingwin psu.

2 out of 5 eggsIt's okay, and not 750W

Pros: It's made by Super Flower, one of the best PSU manufacturers out there, but this is one of their old low end builds.

The fan is quiet and high quality

Heatsink on the bridge rectifier

Has full input filter including 2 MOV's, so this thing will protect your PC if it is not on a surge protector.

Cons: 500W power supply. I even looked on the PCB and this design was only meant to go up to 500W, which isn't bad considering its old topology.

Very low quality CapXon capacitors, and this is all the PSU uses.

It uses a very unreliable two transistor oscillating circuit to generate the +5VSB. This method is very inefficient, resulting in lots of heat when your computer is off or in sleep mode, and all the heat is just going to kill those low quality CapXon capacitors even faster. This particular 5VSB also includes what is called a "critical capacitor." If that 47uF capacitor fails, the self oscillating circuit will go haywire and not be able to properly regulate, usually results in frying your motherboard.

Other Thoughts: You can buy much better for the money. Treat this as an unreliable 500W PSU
