  • newegg Supports CrossFireX/SLI 4x 6+2 Pin PCI-E connectors are included to support multiple graphic cards in CrossFireX or SLI.
  • newegg 140mm Fan with Unique ECO Intelligent Thermal Control System Intelligent Auto Fan Speed Control on the large 140mm fan ensures exceptional cooling performance as well as minimum noise. Moreover, with Kingwin’s special ECO Intelligent Thermal Control System, the fan does not rotate until the temperature reaches a critical point; the RPM of the fan will self-adjust according to the temperature maintaining a linear relationship. And when the temperature descends to a critical point, the fan will stop rotating. This can significantly increase the life span of the fan and power efficiency by reducing unnecessary rotation and consumption.

Pros: Excellent power supply for a gaming machine

Cons: At first I tried to use it in a server with lots of hard drives and the single rail didn't have enough dynamic performance to keep up despite everything being within the amp and watt limits. Moved it to a new gaming rig with just 3 drives and no problems since.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent, efficient

Pros: Essentially silent, great efficiency

Cons: Pricey, but worth it in my opinion

Other Thoughts: My old power power draw total on my watt meter was 150w, including monitor at idle. Power draw while I type this review is 129w. Only change was this power supply.

Old power supply was a corsair 650w 80plus bronze, and had odd spikes during usage over 1100w!! That was either a glitch with feedback to the meter, or that power supply had some flaws. This new one never goes over 180w during the same sequence... Huge difference, it goes without saying, but given those odd power spikes the corsair had, I think it was getting close to failing, something was wrong there...

5 out of 5 eggsKINGWIN LZP-750

Pros: Mostly modular, efficient, silent, adequate but not overstated packaging, moderate size, ample cable length. I would have to say my favorite feature would have to be, any modular plug, can plug into any socket. There are covers for each socket not in use. Modular cables are flat. Got it on sale.

Cons: None that I foresee, time will tell, some electronics prematurely fail, but the build quality seems top-notch. The colors at the ends of the different cables may bother some, all black would have been preferred. The hardwired cables are sleeved, not flat like the modular ones.

Other Thoughts: Some claim the need for 850-1000++ PSU's for high-end SLI/Crossfire overclocking. The idea is to have ample, stable, current; which I feel this unit would provide, particularly in the (even more) power efficient future. If you have an internally powered water cooling system, you will need a larger PSU for such a high-end dual GPU system. Best to keep your PSU as close to optimum load as you can, for power efficiency.
