3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet and stable. Newegg was awesome replacing it (see the cons section below)

Cons: Died (stone cold, dead as a doornail dead) after 11 months. Fortunately it seems to have died cleanly and didn't take out any of my other stuff.

3 out of 5 eggsIdk...

Pros: appears to have great build quality. absolutely gorgeous. work great before it died.

Cons: A little bit over a year after I purchased it and it died. No warnings or anything just wouldn't turn on one morning.

Other Thoughts: I emailed the company about rma'ing and I recieved a response the next day with an rma number and everything. I think I still have faith in the company, maybe its juts a bad batch.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Purchased on 3/07 and is now dead, not due to product but to short in power switch on case. When it was working it was quiet and performed well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Would i buy another? Yes, for a low to mid grade system.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than you might think

Pros: Puts out alot of power. Rails are stable and are slighly overpowered to give some room. 120mm bottom fan is always a nice touch to help draw hot air out of the case. Lighted for everyone that has a transparent case. QUIET, you cant even hear the fans running. Rear fan cuts back on after you turn your PC off for about 5 minutes to help cool off the PSU quicker. Plastic case that comes with it is actually useful. Modular but only 3 main lines for 4 pin molex. Dedicated P4 line. Dedicated 20+4 pin line. Dedicated PCIe line.

Cons: It gets HOT! Your case around it will get HOT, about the temperature of the hot water in your shower id say. It isn't TT or Coolermaster.

Other Thoughts: Asus A8V-Deluxe S939
Opteron 165 @ 2.7ghz 1.500v
1GB OCZ Platinum DDR400
Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB AGP

2 out of 5 eggstwo in a row

Pros: It looks so nice, worked great for the year and a couple months i had it, and made for easy cable manegmeant.

Cons: My fist one died after a little more then a year. sent it back to Hiper and they sent me a new one...the new one actully went ka-blamas...a loud pop and sparks flying out the back of the PSU then nothing.

Other Thoughts: Last note, HIPERS SUPPORT is really leaves so much to be desired. for one nobody there can speak halfway decent english, but a guy by the name of hooman really is a kind guy and trys his best to help. it seems alot of commanies these days are trying to slide a little when it comes to Quality Control. Antec seems to be going down hill atm =( well hope this helps. as i say it'sa 50/50 for anything, you just might get a good one that will last years on end. not for me.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: The Modular design is nice for dressing up the cables, The over all quality of material used to build it and craftmanship used to put it together is good. Still working after 9 months. I don't overclock so the voltage stays the same pretty much.

Cons: The power output is around 360 not the 580 stated, Not a show stopper for the average user, but if you have alot of hardware that draws more amps you may want to look into something with better efficiency.

Other Thoughts: Asus deluxe 939 MB, 2 DVD optical drives, 2 Sata 3 HD in raid 0, 1 512 mb GC, 1 Floppy Drive, 2 Gb Corsair XMS memory, 6 120 mm Fans, 2 90 mm Fans, SB audigy sound card, Bose speakers(2) AMD X2 3800 Proc. All this in a thermaltake 8000 armor series case

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy for the money

Pros: Very good deal for what you are getting. Modular design, sleeves and plenty of juice for my hardware config.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Toolbox is nice when building pc's for other folks. you can put all their extra leftovers in there for them.

2 out of 5 eggsafter 1 year??

Pros: quiet and thick steel cage fan runns for a minute after total shutdown for additional cooling ..

Cons: connectors dont fit tight some even wiggle even when new..no replacement for ends forget it..

Other Thoughts: didnt buy this at newegg but after 1 year these seem to be un stable making you wonder was that the software that caused a reboot or what.. lesson learned gonna stick with tried and true antec power..while the hiper looks nice with the lights and all its not up to the task...

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: It is a power Supply... It provides power. Relatively easy install. Cables are long enough to reach all devices on my full tower case. Threaded connections and able sleeves are a plus.

Cons: Price.

Other Thoughts: Bought it for the dual fans, voltage reguation and over voltage protection. Cool color is a plus, but can't see it through my case door! I like the tool box it came in, althouh it is too flimsy for tools, it is a good stoage box for odds and ends.
