5 out of 5 eggsGreat disks

Pros: I like the color and speed

Cons: Only bad thing is that the middle hubs are very large as compared to the regular disks. i think that is where the laser encoding is for the disk, but still...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: I have been using these disc for over 5 years. I can count on one hand how many coasters I have had.

Cons: The only con was when I had a bad DVD writer and it did a very bad job writing on the disc. Not Verbatim's fault.

Other Thoughts: When on sale get them. Most of the time they are not on sale and cost more then non-lightscribe disc. I have not tried the colored lightscribe disc. I have bought my disc mostly through Newegg. But other sites do run good sale too. The upside to Newegg is the shipping cost. Better then 90% of other web sights.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Coasters!

Pros: Verbatim is the best Lightscribe media. Colored DVD's can be used for specific file purposes at home, business, or commercially. Others may complain about Lightscribe but that's cause they may not be using the best burn software. I've used Lightscribe ECLU and Surething without any hassles. I've made coasters in the past due to improper setup and other brands have fallen short of quality hence my loyalty to Verbatim.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Green and red color discs could be a bit brighter.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks For Me ;-)

Pros: Works like a champion. Relatively simply install. Great price.

Cons: None to date.

Other Thoughts: I have not used the LightScribe functionality as of yet. I bought it to replace a drive that would not write a .WAV file to disk. This worked great, copies DVDs in half the time of my previous drive.

5 out of 5 eggsIn Living Color

Pros: 5 different colors, NO coasters, great contrast & the best burns I've found (tested all that were offered here). I've been using the Verbatim media now for over a year & it's wonderful. I'm using 6 different brands of DVD burners & this media is consistently perfect. I have really bad penmanship, so I now only use LightScribe media.

Cons: Not offered in a 100-pack?

Other Thoughts: To others that suggested the 30-pack at the "Same price", this SKU has 5 different colors (on the LightScribe side), 5 colors x 5 (of each) = 25. The 30 pack is the boring tan color ONLY (those burn & function just as well as these). So if you like to make your projects look great, I suggest these colored ones.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Discs

Pros: I got a pack of these and unlike every other brand, not a single one has failed to detect as a lightscribe disc. I've had many other brands have a 10% or higher failure rate. They were smart and put a piece of paper over the top disc so sitting out in the light doesn't even damage the top one. Every single one works!

Cons: So why did it get a 1 rating? This is a 25 pack and there's the exact same ones in a 30 pack for the same price on newegg. Obviously order that one instead! Otherwise these are the best lightscribe discs you can get

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Lightscribe contrast is much better than Memorex discs I used in the past. Very pleased with how dark the image is with one pass. When using the Memorex DVDs, I'd usually burn the lightscribe process twice to get acceptable contrast, these do fine with one pass. Saves me time!

Cons: No issues at this point.

Other Thoughts: Have only tried playing on my XBOX 360, no read issues.
