Pros: Lower price than the "main" brand of Water-Shed Glossy media

Cons: 1. The thinnest media that we have ever seen. Yes, the discs are very, very thin. They will not work in our duplicators. Beware if you use a duplicator.

2. All the discs have a very sticky substance around the edges that causes all the discs to stick together.

3. MOST IMPORTANT. First time I have ever seen Vertabim media made in the UAR. I can' help but lwonder if this is the cause of the issues mentioned above.
We have never seen the warning shown on the cake box label that shows: "WARNING: these discs might get stuck in slot loading DVD players. Verbatium is NOT responsible if this happens."

We have been using Verbatium media for years, but this will be out last....

Pros: These are my favorite DVD-R discs. The glossy finish produces printed DVD's that are photo quality when I use them in my Canon MG5320 printer. The discs always work great and since the printer prints directly onto the DVD I dont have to stick labels on them or write on them with a Sharpie.

Pros: Awesome Print surface, not one coaster. Use them for professional Video and Image services. My customers think I have them printed and made somewhere. Good Quality Product

Cons: Like everything, i wish i could get em cheaper, and still get the same product. But i am not disappointed in the quality.

Other Thoughts: Wish new egg had em in 100 packs.

Pros: These DVDs are exceptional. I have used hundreds of them and can only remember 2 bad ones. Both of them had physical damage and was not worth complaining about. The print surface is exceptional. Better than the best photo paper.

Other Thoughts: You have to have to have a printer that can print directly to DVDs

Stays "wet" longer than Watershield

Other Thoughts: I've been a dedicated fan of the TY Watershield disks for years and have burned/printed thousands. The ONLY issue I've had with TY was that with my Canon printer the blacks would print as black, then gradually fade to dark slate gray after a day or two. With the Aquaace coating the blacks still fade slightly but remain far darker.

I also wish Verbatim made a CD-R with this coating.

Other Thoughts: The print surface of these discs is very good. The ink penetrates well, making the colors vibrant and the blacks very dark.

The glossy surface of these discs is almost identical to the JVC/TY Glossy discs. When looking directly at the disc, they appear identical. If you look at the discs side-by-side at an angle, and focus on an object through the reflection, these discs have a slightly more blurred reflection indicating a very very slight less amount of glossiness compared to the JVC/TY discs... but unless you have them side by side, you would not notice the difference at all. Since these are usually cheaper than the JVC/Taiyo Yuden discs, there is no reason to get those discs over these. The quality of the discs are the same, it just comes down to which one is cheaper at the time of purchase.

Pros: The quality of these discs are amazing! No coasters, and the labels that came out looked perfect. So amazing, it looked like a store bought DVD. I have never seen a DVD look so amazing!

Cons: Price. They are expensive, it comes out to be about 76 cents each. But they are well worth every penny.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for high quality labels, then these DVDs are definitely the way to go.

Pros: All the DVDs burn correctly, I didn't have any coaster yet. Will buy again, near depletion.

Pros: This disc has an amazing glossy print surface. I was blown away by how rich, bold, and vibrant the colors looked. Drying time is suprisingly fast. As for the media, there hasn't been a single coaster after burning 10 discs.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I am a devoted fan of Verbatim's 16x White Inkjet Hub-Printable DVD-R Discs (Model 95079). After seeing the quality of these...I just may switch. :)
