5 out of 5 eggsMKM-001

Pros: Made in Singapore. Looks exactly like it did in the picture. MKM-001 is what Dvd Identifier says. P/N 96732 is what I recieved.

Cons: Expensive :(
2.4 speed - although i usually never burn higher than 4x anyway...

Other Thoughts: For this price I hope none of them fail. So far I've only made one copy but it worked fine, whereas the last disc I used was a Ritek(Memorex) and it failed to copy. The shiny silver is fine to write on if you use a permanent marker. Also I think with the fail rate I got on the Memorex(very high) I think these are worth the money.

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: They hold a lot of information, which is great for older backup filing I need for Photography. I always want to keep multiple copies of files so this is great for RAW file data storage.

Cons: I've used half of this spindle so far and have had four error while trying to burn. I always have this problem with disks and am shocked it's happening with these. So expensive!

Other Thoughts: I'd still use them because they fail less than cheaper versions I've had. Less is better than nothing I suppose.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best +R DL

Pros: Very low PI errors and PI failures. A factor of TEN better than any of the other lower priced media. They do not exhibit the high error spikes seen at the layer 0/layer 1 transitions found in other brand media such as M-m-r-x.

Cons: Low burn rate of 2.4X. Shiny surface is hard to write on.
Of course, the cost. At nearly $2 a disc, expensive. But if your time is worth something, the low failure rates on these are probably worth it.

Other Thoughts: Not sure what the differences are between this version and the other retail packaged versions that seem to be cheaper. But these are the "Data Life Plus" versions, which are the highest quality. Made in Singapore. I use these for the important DVD movies I want to keep

5 out of 5 eggsWhy?

Pros: These discs are THE BEST. I've tried others and these have an almost non-existent failure rate.

Cons: Why on earth would you buy this 50 pack at $2.00 per disc, when the 20 pack is $1.30 per disc for the exact same thing?
