2 out of 5 eggsDO NOT ALWAYS WORK

Pros: decent price

Cons: inconsistant when burning the light-scribe side, you end up throwing away about half of the disc because they failed to scribe halfway or reads unrecognizable disc.

Other Thoughts: not worth the headaches

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Light Scribe compatible.
50 CDs
Burns great and fast.
Cheap.

Cons: Contrast on the Light Scribe side of the disk lacks a bit to be desired, But I solved it just by increasing the contrast and decreasing the brightness of the photos I used for disk labels.

Other Thoughts: I want more in other colors now. :P

5 out of 5 eggsGreat disk

Pros: These are by far this best disk I have used so far. I have used other brands with marginal success (many coasters). With these I have not had any coasters. Quality is great and consistent. The light-scribe side works very well and my labels look really nice. No more sticky labels that fail or throw the balance of the disk off.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsNo coasters, good LightScribe label

Pros: Have made quite a few DVDs from this spindle, and have had no coasters at all. The LightScribe contrast is good. Overall, very satisfied.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsQuality DVDs

Pros: Good for data and video

Cons: Not the best for lightscribe

Other Thoughts: Been through a couple dozen on these now, no coasters, but I haven't had one in a long time even with cheaper brands. The lightscribe print is not as dark as other brands, but still good. Best so far on lightscribe has been the Philips +R 50 pack.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Burned at 24x with Nero with my new LG SATA burner. Labels are much nicer than a traditional Sharpie or the paper labels that peel in about 3 months.

Cons: Burning a simple label took 3x longer than 4.7GB to the other side of the disk. I guess that is more of a con towards the technology than the disks.

Other Thoughts: First time using Lightscribe, thought it would be nice to not have the usual Sharpie labeling. After using it however I am a bit dissapointed in the technology, not the disks. The labels take longer to burn than the data does. Lightscribe labels are also limited to greyscale, the end result is rather nice however. Not worth extra money to buy special disks when the labels arent in color and take alot of time to burn.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Discs

Pros: I have been using these Verbatim dvd-r's for years, and can honestly say that I have NEVER burned a coaster!! I go through a couple of spindles a year, and I have yet to find a player that these would not work on. nuff said!

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: To people who complain about the lightness of the Lightscribe image I say this, after you burn the label leave the disc in and re-burn it. It will darken the pcture a LOT!
