For sharp, clear graphics using color thermal printers the preferred choice is Verbatim's DataLifePlus CD-R White Thermal Printable, which supports full-surface edge-to-edge printing. Compatible with color thermal printers including Rimage Everest technology, these 52x speed certified CD-R discs have a white, thermal, scratch resistant surface. This surface optimizes thermal printing for superb high-resolution reproduction of graphics text and logos. Ideal for CD duplicating, Verbatim DataLifePlus CD-R color thermal printable discs are available in 50-disc spindles. Discs feature Verbatim's innovative "Super Azo" dye providing long-term data security and superior resistance to UV irradiation.
Not good for overburning
This review is from: Verbatim 700MB 52X CD-R Thermal Printable, Hub Printable 50 Packs Spindle 50Pkg DataLifePlus CD Recordable Media Model 94795
Pros: May be ok for standard length burning.
Cons: Pretty worthless for longer overburns
Other Thoughts: Due to the Taiwanese floods I was forced to pay over double price for a spool of what I "thought" would be high quality overburing media but this batch of A+ Mitsubishi DataLifePlus did not fit the bill. The last spool of 100 Verbatim Taiwanese white label I bought at the end of last summer for $12 PP from newegg burned up to about 83:20 min with relative ease so I thought a burn 82:25 would be a piece of cake with this media (produced in China) but no dice after half a dozen costly coasters (this spool cost me $16.88 for a lousy 50 discs...) burned at the slowest possible speed I gave up in futility. Even the more recent batch CMC (formally close to the worst manufacturer of media on the planet) could top this in terms of overburning potential but unfortunately due to the floods the prices have skyrocketed.
