Verbatim 25GB 6X BD-R 20 Packs Spindle LTH Type Disc Model 97344 - OEM

ICON Loading...

Verbatim BD-R LTH media is manufactured with an organic dye that turns the disc's reflectivity during recording from "low to high". Other BD-R discs use the "high to low" recording method. Additionally, BD-R LTH is manufactured on converted CD-R/DVD-R production lines, which utilize a spin coating process and allow excess materials to be recycled. These two cost-cutting measures let us pass along the savings to you. Upon introduction of the BD-R LTH media, key hardware manufacturers like Sony, Pioneer, Panasonic and LG have worked to assure that their burners are fully compatible. If your BD burner is a 2009 model or later it will most likely support recording and playback of BD-R LTH media. If your Blu-ray hardware was manufactured before 2009, check with the manufacturer for firmware updates.

  • Low to High (LTH) - BD-R LTH is the same as all other Blu-ray media, except it's manufactured using a more efficient production process.
  • High-Definition - Blu-ray discs are designed especially to store large HD video and audio files.  So, you'll use fewer discs when you're backing-up, recording or duplicating high definition digital recordings - including your music library.
  • Hard Coat - All Verbatim Blu-ray discs are treated with a super hard coat to prevent scratches, resist fingerprints and reduce dust build-up.
  • Laser Technology - Verbatim Blu-ray discs use blue-violet laser technology to read and write data. That means, superb resolution, excellent contrast, vivid colors and amazing sound.
  • Capacity - The Verbatim single-layer Blu-ray disc offers up to 25GB of storage space to back-up your video, music, photos and more.
  • Recordable - This single-layer Blu-ray disc is designed for one-time recording and should be used with BD-R hardware.
  • Compatibility - Verbatim Blu-ray discs are compatible with the latest Blu-ray hardware from leaders in the market like Sony, Pioneer, Panasonic and LG.
  • Warranty - All Verbatim Blu-ray discs are backed with a Limited Lifetime Warranty and a 40-year history of quality and reliability.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the price

Pros: Reliable, no error until i use theses BDs. Never missed a burn. I use Pioneer BDR-216. Burned over 400 Bds till now.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: Best for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsnot bad

Pros: Works great when I burn at 4x.

Cons: It is probably more my BD drive then the blurays; but my burns fail every time I try to burn at 6x. My drive is suppose to support writing at 6x and is at the current firmware level.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage!

Pros: They cost less than regular BD-R and now I know why.

Cons: Discs will not play in any of my Blu-ray players.

Other Thoughts: I reeived these for Christmas and discovered they would NOT play in my stand alone Blu-ray players. Verbatim claims they are the same as regular BD-R. I say NO WAY! Spend a little more and buy regular BD-R discs.

5 out of 5 eggsBurning OK

Pros: Seem to burn OK for me. No coasters. Price is OK. I am burning Blu-ray video. I am using a recently purchased ASUS 12X BD-R 8X BD-ROM 8MB Cache SATA Blu-ray Burner BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I wish 50GB disks would come down to $2 per disc to complete.

If you are making coasters, make sure your burner is able to burn LTH discs and your firmware is up-to-date.

I am worried about longevity and disc rot ...

1 out of 5 eggsJUNK...TRASH...Garbage..I'm Getting tired.......

Pros: Earth has not yet been engulfed by a supernova or black hole. The jersey show will be off the air for a while , instead of annoying me. And Zoey Deschanel still has the blue eyes of an angel!

Cons: These were the WORST product I have ever used since a MB I once bought off eB@y. I'll give you a hint, a small animal known to be hunted in England for sport. And a person that lies for personal gain. I'll give you a hint Batman. The first answer is also the name of a TV network. Anyway, 10 bad discs out of 20......need I say more.

Other Thoughts: The next time verbatim wants to just off some junk, just throw it away. Don't sell it and make all of us who are loyal to the brand suffer the wrath. Not fair. These weren't free, and now I'm out more than $20. For nothing. Replaced everything I burned on these with regular verbatims, and no problems at all. BUYER BEWARE, these things are a waste of money, I didn't read the full description before buying, and now I know. My mistake, but verbatim should take responsibility for releasing these things in the first place.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: They work great in my burner. I use two LG burners, a WH10LS30 and a WH12LS38. I've burned more than 200 of these discs and only 5 have had write or validation errors. Like the price.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I suspect that many of the bad reviews are due to older, incompatible burners.

1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: They didn't all fail.

Cons: So far 5 out of 16 have failed verification. Physically they feel somewhat more flimsy than non LTH type.

These are "manufactured using a more efficient production process" at the expense of the consumer! It's not a compatibility issue, these type of disc are simply sub par.

Other Thoughts: I should of just paid more for the non LTH type. I burned 10 of these (N82E16817130155) Verbatim discs without failure.

Didn't make through 10 of these discs without failure.

I'm using a LG WH14NS40 (N82E16827136250) burner.

1 out of 5 eggsZERO eggs, actually

Pros: They're round. On second thought, had they been square, they wouldn't have fit in my burner -- and I wouldn't have wasted all that time and money.

Cons: JUNK, nefarious junk.
90% failure rate, either Hardware errors which terminated the burn, or failure to verify after completion. I’ve burned thousands of Verbatim AZO DVDs with perhaps a 1% failure rate -- all the work and time involved havs made the experience a total nightmare.

Other Thoughts: There is a second line of the warranty information at the supermediastore.com, hilighted in yellow, which says:
“Verbatim will replace your LTH discs with standard Blu-ray discs if you have compatibility issues with drives manufactured after 2009.”

What’s up newegg? I’ve been a customer of yours since you were first laid, back when you had tech support, back when one needed only to pick up the phone and order. Now you seem to be going the way of big box-big bux outfits.
And whazzup Verbatim? This product belies your once heralded position of prominence — from AZO to azol.

5 out of 5 eggsBest discs

Pros: Blu ray disc are the best way to archive and store data they are more scratch resistant heat tolerant and for the price you can't go wrong I always use Verbatim why bother risking with a cheap brand.

Cons: None
