Pros: Worked as advertised. No coasters.

Verbatim name and quality.

Cons: Not made in Singapore, with large numbers of bad disks

Other Thoughts: After reading other comments on the Internet about the stark contrast between Verbatim DVD-R's made in Singapore and elsewhere, I decided to order these disks based upon previous reviews.

Unfortunately, it seems I received a version that was NOT made in Singapore. The first two disks in the cake had large numbers of errors as detected by Nero Diskspeed. A very slow burn on a disk about halfway through the cake was better, but still indicated a very high number of PI errors.

Pros: Most reliable DVD-R media out there in a jungle of newcomers...
Stable and rock solid, never had to trash any of these good blanks!

Cons: You pay more for quality than for experimenting (which, in the end, is not a "Con", but a Pro"... because you ultimately SAVE money!

Other Thoughts: I hear and read about the Verbatim brand new technology related to some "coating" or something...
I really don't care about HOW, I am only concerned about results, and these puppies never failed me...
Even though rated as "UP TO 16X", I never had any problem burning at 20X (at least when it comes to that speed towards the end, or over the outer sectors of the physical disc)

Pros: Price and compatability.

Cons: would like cases for them.

Other Thoughts: Just joking about the cases, but would be nice.

Cons: I have a Toshiba SD-R5732 DVD Burner and these DVD-R does not work at all on them, I think its because of the Advance Technolgy Dye, all they do is load in my drive and they show up as a used DVD in the drive, I try about 6 of them blanks and they all do the samething, I guess I gotta send them back to Newegg, When I seen the good reviews on these< thats why I got them, but they dont work for nothin'on my DVD burner

Pros: They work well in my computer and my DVD player; I've used about 10 and no problems so far.

Pros: company stands behind thier product will exchange your failed burned disks for new ones

Cons: Did'nt know until i looked on thier site but i allready threw away

Other Thoughts: with half of the disks failing for me i went with T*D*K

BTW im using a samsung drive and burning with dvd shrink and nero software and i dont understand why thier is so mixed reviews on dvd and cd media,

is it because we all use different Burners?

Pros: so far so good, used 4 and they all worked very well, the quality was good. Plays in all the dvd players in the house.
They are cheap, compare to the prices in the stores

Pros: Cheap and they work! I always stick with the cheap/no name brands... they work so much better than the expensive ones. I get more coasters from Mem*rex and other expensive ones.
