Other Thoughts: I have used only Verbatim dics over the years. Very few coasters unless I make the mistake. Other brands have given me problems. You pay for what you get and these are the best.

Pros: MCC discs. Works well in inkjet printers.

Cons: Surface is rough. A glossy option would have been nice.

Cons: -took experimenting to figure out print diameter area w/ hub, would be nice if included in specs- 119mm x 21mm is what I found when researching Verbatim, however, my software would only allow 118mm x 21mm and it printed perfectly with a slight outer area white strip. Hub was perfect.

Other Thoughts: This was my first purchase of white printable dvd's. I was not sure what to expect and will limit comments to this aspect as previous reviews speak to the reliability and quality of this Verbatim DVD+R. Printing is clear. The print does require a few minutes of dry time otherwise it will smudge. Once completely dry, I can rub my finger over the print without bleeding or smudging. However, any moisture on your finger or liquid will cause the print to bleed out. I suppose this is because of the matte finish and the fact that the white printable area is porous and remains porous after printing. I ordered these because they were +R and printable. I am not dissatisfied with the product as I was unsure of what to expect, but do wish it was not so easily susceptible to moisture.

Verbatim does make a DVD product that does protect against moisture as well as provide a glossy, picture paper like, print. It is the Verbatim Aquaace Hub Printable DVD. However, this product is available only in DVD-R and is twice as expensive for the same count.

I bout these DVD's to copy family and home videos to as well as to burn 2 copies of my Win8 upgrade ISO I purchased (digital download ISO). I decided to buy the AquaAce also after seeing the video as I want to make sure my prints last as long as the DVD's themselves.

I still give this product 4 stars because it does not claim to be water resistant and because I am pleased with the print qualities. I wish we could purchase smaller counts as I mostly want the Aquaace's for the IOS which will have my product key printed on it. Cant lose or that damaged :) !

Pros: Not highly knowledgeable on burning. Do know that Verbatim DataLifePlus disc (CD/DVD) have always worked for me. Burn great, and when I need to pull something out of the archive--one or both copies are always readable.

Cons: None. Don't get the silver tops by mistake?

Pros: Like the cover, easy to write the label and not have to worry with the brand being on there.

Cons: Already finished it.
