TDK 700MB 52X CD-R 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 48555

Pros: I can record live audio onto them, no playback issues.

Cons: Their not made of gold, no $100 bills hidden in the spindle.

Pros: I have been using TDK media almost exclusively for nearly ten years, never once have I had a failed burn. The labels have always been of high quality, feeling very thick and robust, as opposed to some other media that has a very thin and almost see-through label coating, if you can even call it a coating, it seems almost like the actual metallic ink you burn to is the only label they have left. Anyway, I digress...

TDK is great media, with great burn speeds!

Cons: Cost. This media is a little bit more expensive than other brands, but given the apparent superior quality, I will happily pay the price.

Other Thoughts: Though I have used other media, including the ever present Memorex, Verbatim, imation etc. etc. I have had failed burns, though typically a low failure rate, by comparison the TDK media is far superior, literally not one single failed burn (Due to media) in over ten years of using TDK media. Though I have experienced failed burns, they were due to a faulty device, a total of three devices that would not burn any media at a speed higher than between 2x-8x, anything faster, and no matter the media the burn would fail midway through (Typically midway, sometimes earlier, sometimes later), although those were different reviews... (SONY!!!)

Other Thoughts: How do you write a review for recordable disc's, then I realized that I have used almost all the disc's already, and not one reject. I buy disc's and often get a few duds. So, other than fast delivery on NewEgg's part the disc's recorded at a good speed and agin no duds.
That makes these awesome discs a recommend for me.

Pros: Simply great. I use these almost exclusively for burning iso images and I've had no failures.

Pros: Not one disk unusable; burned mostly music and a handful of data disks.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I still have a stack of cheaper disks that I use for general data, etc. but it took a better blank media to be able to play the cds in our vehicles.
