Pros: maybe 25/100 burnt sucessfully

Cons: 75% of these disks failed on burn. I use a 1 to 3 dvd copy machine and only 25% of them pass on the copy. Any other brand dvd copies 100%.

Other Thoughts: Will never buy again

Other Thoughts: The TDK's used to be dark grey on the top but now have a cool blue top. show up in IMGBURN as RITEKF1. RITEKF1 is considered 2nd class blank media (compared to lets say a Verbatim with a code of MCC...) but is still very good product even though Verbatim is better for the long haul as far as archival discs go.

Pros: Non cluttered/very attractive surface
VERY durable coating
High TDK quality
Usually on sale for less than $25 SHIPPED

Cons: Doesn't buy me coffee beans......

Other Thoughts: I've made at least 50 succesful burns from the TDK 100 pack purchased from New Egg . RITEK1 brand. My previous spindle purchased from Office Depot was CMCmag brand. NEVER had a bad burn because of a defective disc. My current rig I use for burning movies is a P4 2.8 with 1.2 GB RAM.....down graded from 2 GB of RAM... PERFECT burns EVERY time. The only "bad" burns were when the source had bad VOB files....so thats not the discs fault. And usually they were still playable on the computer....just not my Dvd player.

Not sure what people are doing that complain about low quality....could be your system or your authoring/burning program. I use ImageBurn. Also the low key and uncluttered disc surface is very durable since I've had to remove the title written with magic marker.....the surface holds up even after 3 or 4 sessions with PURE ACETONE!!!

Will the discs STILL play in one year? I'm keeping my eye on that and will update in a few months.

Pros: so far I've burned 10 of this and no coasters i would purchase this product again in the future

Pros: They... burn. Only a few bad burns...

Cons: HORRIBLE quality disks. On my first spindle, eight of the disks not only failed on burn, but two of those (and about three or four others) literally fell apart. I looked at the edge, saw colourful shimmering patterns, pulled... and the two plastic layers popped apart. With some of the other failed disks, it took only moderate effort to rip the two plastic layers apart with my fingernails.

Rest of the spindle is similar, in that the divide between the two halves of each disk are poorly glued, and the edge poorly sealed. Sure, most of them burn, but with a rim and layers so flimsily attached, how long can I trust a burned disk to hold up? I hope the other three spindles are even slightly better...

Other Thoughts: TDK... WHY Ritek? WHY?! They may be branded TDK, but they're RITEKF1 disks, and not good examples of the breed... not that it's saying much.

Pros: Quick burn.

Cons: Only half of the disks work on my new macbook pro. Haven't figured out why only half. Seems like there would be a problem with the firmware for the burner...but if have burn and half are corrupt...not sure. I am using DVD studio pro lastest software as of this date...
