Cons: They are average in quality and I noticed the price went up. Other Thoughts: For a supposedly TECH SAVVY company like newegg, you'd think they'd have realized by now that the label on the spindle is pretty IRRELEVANT and would advertise them by the actual MFG ID on a sample BLANK PLATTER. The companies that sell them certainly won't admit on the label WHERE THEY WERE ORIGINALLY MANUFACTURED or the MODEL NUMBER BY THAT MANUFACTURER. I loaded windows7 on in around 5 minutes from instalation. The drive is so quick that everything flashes when u open it. Cons: There was no mounting brackets for the hard drive bay. Other Thoughts: The old westren 10000 rmp is old school. I got 5.9 with it on the windows performance and now I'm at 7.9 with this drive!
