4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: These actually work

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I don't have much need to burn audio cd's anymore, but occasionally I'll burn a disc for listening to in the car. My car cd player doesn't like 90% of burned cd's though. I've tried many different brands, and memorex seems to be the only brand that it will play without massive errors.

5 out of 5 eggsCouldn't beat the price

Pros: The burner that I used to write to this disk has a maximum write speed of 48X for CDR blanks. That is the write speed that I saw when burning to these blanks. I have burnt several discs and they recorded just fine and according to quality test on Nero the disc has a 99% quality rating. The average read speed, also tested with Nero, was 29.53 which is no where near the rated speed, but it is plenty fast for me. The maximum read speed that I saw was in the 35 or 36X range.

Cons: None that I can see

Other Thoughts: The discs came very well packaged with the Styrofoam peanuts completely filling the box. The discs that I received and tested were made by Ritek even though the carry the Memorex brand. I would not hesitate to recommend these blanks to my friends.

5 out of 5 eggsBurn Baby

Pros: They work fine for my applications

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I burn CD's and DVD's to only be used for a few weeks never need them for any longer. So i'm not sure of the life span of a single disc would really last. Overall works fine

1 out of 5 eggsTrash

Pros: None

Cons: Someone these and I have tried 15 discs so far and have gotten one good burn out of the pack. I knew Memorex was cheap junk but I used to be able to get most of them to burn correctly now I can get any.

Neither me or the person who gave me these will ever buy Memorex again.

Other Thoughts: If you like having a lot of coasters lying around these are for you.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: None!

Cons: I get maybe 1/5 to actually burn, and that is setting my drive (Samsung writermaster) to the lowest speed. So it takes like 5 minutes to burn a CD, if it actually works. These things are complete junk...

Other Thoughts: I have used lots of other discs with no issues, even some Memorex (different model) with 0 issues, up until these.
