I bought these to backup files & content from my computer before I reformat each time as I do not use anti-virus or firewalls being I love speed & hate complications. After the bad discs in spindles 6 and 7 the final total would be around 640 data discs burned at 6X without issue. Cons: In spindles #6 and 7 I encountered a section just below the middle of the spindle, on both, that would burn but failed at verification. Ended up wasting hours and tossing about 30 discs per spindle. Other Thoughts: These two spindles were ordered separate from the first 5 and came from a different batch. Cons: company opted to label the top of the disc with their name, a huge arrow, 16x dvd-r, and the 3 lines where you're supposed to write. see comments... Other Thoughts: The previous discs I bought (the 8x version) have just a silver matte top, with Ridata in small print on the inner ring. I prefer this over all the design/labeling. Yes I know I can write wherever I want, but I like uniformity in my media and hate having all that extra garbage clutter the top of my disc. I haven't used any of these discs, but because I haven't had problems with ritek/ridata in the past I gave 3 eggs. I ended up selling the spindle to a friend for $20, and then bought the discs I wanted somewhere else (in 8x, which Newegg doesn't carry). I posted a review and included a video showing the difference, but apparently someone at Newegg didn't like it and it wasn't posted. An email notice of rejection and explanation would have been nice.
