5 out of 5 eggsGreat no-frills media

Pros: Cheap, no branding, CD labels adhere to it well. I think i've only had 1-2 coasters out of the 1000s I've burned at max speed.

Cons: No cake box means the only thing holding the spindle together is plastic wrap. It sometimes breaks open during shipping.

2 out of 5 eggsVery bad packaging!

Pros: Good price

Cons: I've been been a customer since 2005 and you would expect from a large company that the items I order should arrive at my door packaged professionally. The last few orders I've made my items were loose inside the box out of their original wrap and just laying loose. I agree with another person that posted if Newegg doesn't get a hold of this problem and correct it - many customers may start purchasing else where. Please look into the packaging process. There are times I might have ordered larger items such as LCDs, monitors etc. but I am afraid they may arrive cracked or damaged. A risk I rather not take.

Other Thoughts: Better packaging from auction websites!

2 out of 5 eggsWorst brand you can buy

Pros: Cheap, but junky.

Cons: Of all brands tried over the years, these are junk.

Other Thoughts: Terrible brand, try Rosewill for lower price brand: more consistent quality.

2 out of 5 eggsNo spindle

Pros: RiData does make good discs

Cons: These discs arrive WITHOUT A SPINDLE!! Despite the description that says "Spindle Disc", there is no spindle to hold them together. In shipping the plastic shrink around them broke and the discs were scattered through the box. Several of them appear scratched beyond use.

In retrospect I see the photograph doesn't show a spindle, but it never occurred to me that they'd end up shipping loose in the box. I'm disappointed in Newegg for not making this clear.

Other Thoughts: If Newegg mentioned in the description that these were simply bulk CDs and not packaged in a spindle instead of putting the word "spindle" in the description, I would have ordered something else instead.

1 out of 5 eggs74-minute discs in disguise

Pros: They keep the coffee rings off my desk.

Cons: 100% fail rate so far (of 20 attempts) burning a 698MB image, with write errors usually somewhere between sectors 330000 and 340000. Even with a 650MB test image, I got write errors and coasters on the first two attempts, and was only successful on the third. Utterly worthless.

4 out of 5 eggsRidata CD-R's

Pros: Packed well

Cons: Discs stick to one another

Other Thoughts: Unlike the other reviewers, I can say that the 100 pack set of these discs were packaged very well...discs tightly bound by heavy cellophane, then packaged very well in bubble wrap in cardboard box for shipment. So, no loose discs at all. Actually, the opposite of loose discs was true; the discs were so tightly packed that it took hand separation of them individually to loosen the discs from one another. It's possible that during the manufacturing process the disc surfaces were still somewhat sticky when the 100 disc pack was wrapped. I think next time around I'd buy some higher rated discs rather than these.

3 out of 5 eggsShould have known by the price

Pros: Fast shipping & cheap price for RITEK
$11.99 for 100 blank CD-r's, I pay that much local for 10

Cons: Maybe to cheap, You can see right through them and you can't tell by looking at them what side goes down to burn to, Had to put them in burner in order to know what side to use.

Other Thoughts: Wish someone would have posted more info about them, Like how cheaply made they are.
I don't mind the way they are packaged & they do work though so that's a plus.
I can't wait to use them up so I can buy a better disc model and brand.

4 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: They work

Cons: The way they were packaged to ship sucked, i opened the box to a bunch of cd's rattling around inside. The box itself was NOT DAMAGED

Other Thoughts: You can do better on the packaging New egg , I should have sent them back if I had time to do so.

5 out of 5 eggsThermal Printable, not Inkjet printable.

Pros: Excellent quality at a good price.

Cons: These CDs are Thermal Printable, they are not inkjet printable. The title is misleading.
