1 out of 5 eggsWorthless Gutter Trash

Pros: If you need coasters for guests, they will work awesomely.

Cons: Out of the entire 50 pack, I've had 2 work...do not buy. It's a gamble if you try them. If you're looking for a good way to waste your money, this is the best way.

1 out of 5 eggsNot As Good As Their 4X BD-Rs

Pros: Print surface is great, price is good

Cons: VERY hit and miss with these 6X Ridata's, which is surprising since their older 4X BD-Rs are fantastic. I've burned hundreds of their 4X's with only a few coasters ever and zero playback complaints from clients whereas these have burn errors about half the time, and when they do successfully burn they either won't play at all on my Blu-Ray player or they take a very long time to load. My clients couldn't get them to play either, which made me look like a chump when I delivered a $4000+ video project on them assuming the quality would be the same as the 4X discs are. Not so! Unfortunately I already opened two 50 packs so I can't return them or I would do so immediately.

Other Thoughts: Something changed with Ridata's quality between the older 4X discs and these newer 6X discs and it wasn't for the better. NOT RECOMMENDED.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Media

Pros: - Was Cheap when purchased for a 50 pack of BD-Rs.

Cons: Have burned through 28 of 50 discs. The discs have made a few coasters in the beginning. Down to my last half of the spindle and have burned 6 coasters in a row. Thought it was my burner, replaced my burner. Burned 3 more coasters. Switch to a different brand BD-R, now no issues.

1 out of 5 eggs100% Garbage

Pros: None

Cons: Every single burn failed. First 5 off the stack, another 5 from the middle, not a single one worked. Worst media I've ever used.

Other Thoughts: From the same manufacturer, RiDATA 25GB 4X BD-R Inkjet white hub-printable 50 Packs Spindle Disc Model BDR-254-RDIWN-CB50 have worked, and continue to work perfectly.

1 out of 5 eggsUgh!

Pros: None

Cons: Coasters, coasters, and more coasters. These discs (RITEK-BDR-300) consistently fail to verify (IMGburn) with both of my BD-R drives (LG WH1NS40 and Mashita UJ260). I've upgraded the firmware to the latest revisions, and I am using the latest version of IMGburn (2.5.8.0).

Other Thoughts: I had few issues (1 coaster out 25) using Digistor BD-R's. The Ritek BD-R's have produced 24 coasters out of 25 discs.

5 out of 5 eggsA large grain of salt

Pros: Reliable, Affordable, 6X

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is my third time buying these particular discs and never had a single coaster. For those having trouble, please explore your burn failures in depth before blaming the media. Overall, people are reporting good things which could indicate your issue is something other than the discs.

1 out of 5 eggsSeemed okay, but...

Pros: Good price, and burned / verified okay... at first.

Cons: Didn't properly report their burn speed to the system, so had to manually turn down the burn speed.
Verified fine, but almost universally got read errors anywhere from weeks to three or four months later. Burned at 12x with failures at first (due to disks misreporting their burn rate), then scaled back to 4x, and in all but two disks out of 60+ errors cropped up when recovering data backed up onto them.

1 out of 5 eggsBlu-Ray Coasters

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Successfully burned 1 out of first 10 discs.

Other Thoughts: Backing up family photos using my Dell PC, LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray burner and Nero 2014. Successfully burned one of these discs, then made 5 coasters. Switched to a Windata disc I have and successfully burned the data twice. Back to these discs and made 4 more coasters. Same files, same PC. Won't try this brand again.

5 out of 5 eggsNice writable discs

Pros: Burns at 10X with my writer. Print is fully dry and does not smudge within seconds of printing. No burn errors. I have NEVER had a bad burn with RiData discs.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My thoughts on the couple folks that got so many coasters is that maybe their BURNER is to blame? Or a firmware update needed?
My Lite-On has never burned a bad disc, using even the cheapest media. The only difference I've ever seen between premium and bargain Blu-Ray media is write speed, with the bargain stuff writing AT media speed and premium being able to be written quite a bit faster than advertised speed.
