Cons: Sudden 2x price increase. No point buying when a 50-pack is over $30. Better to buy hard drives when discs approach 80 cents each.

Weird how hard drive prices fall while blank blu-ray discs rise especially with UHD on the horizon. It's not just RiDATA...it's all of the brands at this time.

Pros: Good price

Cons: a little slow (4x), but I knew that when I bought them.

Pros: Make nice coasters.

Cons: Will not burn on LG (Current firmware). burner.

Pros: The ink seats and dries well very fast on these doesn't leave access ink in center

Pros: i got these discs on sale in october i believe. i just purchased another spindle for future use. all on the basis of the reviews here and one test burn that also tested my new lg writer. both worked well with no errors. so foolish to buy another spindle on the basis of just a single burn...you might say....i never had any problems with ridata discs i have their dvd blanks from 9 years ago that are still true.but i will allow that there are bad quality blank media out there...as i got some phillips dvds in 04 that i had to return to the store. i always burn my discs on a stand alone from the net pc[which i run all my editing apps,single player games etc on] i belive this has kept me from having a coaster in over a decade..since the phillips in 04 and that pc wasnt on the net either. unless you are educated in computer science yadda ..your pc is going to get at least sluggish from years on the net no matter what firewall antivirus etc one uses...and also a win pc should be reformatted or image recovered after several years as windows is prone to become a bit garbled over time..or so ive read somewhere last decade..so all these factors can contribute to bad burns..as well as firmare,file continuity[fragmentation] etc.......if these discs do give me problems i will be back to rescind this 5 egg rating...yes i am an old dinosaur and i still keep my 6 case fans on molexes at full speed....dont need that xtra wattage coursing through my mobo

Pros: Very few coasters after 300+ burns
Feed-up several TBs of storage space on my system.
Cured my erectile dysfunction.

Cons: Every time I finish burning a spindle, I get an errection that lasts longer than four hours.

Pros: This is a correction for my previous review (probably right below this one) which was NOT intended for these RiData discs, but was rather intended for the Vinpower Digital 25GB 4X BD-R 50 Packs Disc Model OQBDR04LT-50.

Ok, so about the RiData discs: They are great. Burn at 10X in all 3 of my burners (LG WH14NS40 and BH14NS40, Pioneer BDR-209DBK), read back smooth with no wiggles at all on the Nero DiscSpeed graph. The oldest burned discs I have are 2 months old, and the data is still in excellent shape.

Cons: Limit of 5 spools per customer.

Pros: Excellent in LG WH14NS40/BH14NS40 burners @ 8x (fastest available speed). No problems at all, approx 3 spools burned.

Discs burned a year ago at 8x in either LG burner read back great, no wiggles on the DiscSpeed graph.

Cons: For some reason my Pioneer 209DBK doesn't like these discs since a couple firmware updates ago (I've noticed it since v1.32, but not sure when the issue first appeared). Burning at 8x or 10x (fastest available speed) yields about the same results: mostly good, but shaky burn quality in the last 5GB of the disc.

Didn't bother trying slower speeds in the Pioneer because backing off to 8x didn't help, and I know they are fine at 8x in the LG burners. So I'm pretty sure the issue is with Pioneer's firmware, but just something to keep in mind if you have a Pioneer burner.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Pioneer burner. It just doesn't play nice with these particular discs. Hopefully they fix that in a future firmware update.

Pros: Very affordable HTL disc

Cons: none so far

Pros: Discs burn well on Samsung portable SE-506. Not one failed burn or verification.

Cons: Cannot verify discs after burning with imburn in LG WH10LS30 even before and after firmware updated to latest version. I have had about 5 Coasters since I do not trust the discs if they fail verification.

Other Thoughts: Will stick with optical quantum discs in the future as I have had no issues with either drive with those discs.
