Pros: I've used Ritek/Ridata discs to burn video files frequently including Ritek discs re-brand as Sony, Verbatim, Memorex and TDK without any problems at either 8x speed or 16x speed.

Cons: Not really a con, there's little space on the dvd surface for writing.

Other Thoughts: Since Taioyuden discs are virtually non-existent, quality discs are difficult to find, as long as Ritek/Ridata discs are made in Taiwan, I'll continue to buy, I do not have faith in discs made elsewhere.

Cons: I took an egg off & this isn't neweggs fault but about every 10 to 15 disks I would get some kind of error , I would try the next disk below the one that gave me an error & it too would give me an error but after that they would work great , I decided to take a couple of these error disks & try them in another DVD burner to see what would happen & they would burn great , I have no clue why my main burner would do this to give me errors , I've never seen this before & I've been burning disks for years

Other Thoughts: I would still recommend these disks even though a few gave me errors

Pros: Decent Price.

Cons: This is not the level of quality I have come to expect from RiDATA. These had almost 20% coasters in each pack. I ordered 5 packs, unfortunately. Many of the disks just would not read. Some were warped, and did not sit flat on a spindle with the others. In addition to that, some of the ones that burned, had errors and issues. Not happy at all with these.

Other Thoughts: I have bough lots of RiDATA DVDs, usually in 100-packs. Rarely, is there even 1 that is unusable in them, but these are different. I would not recommend these. These look the same, but are not.
