Great PSU
- Pros: Heard a lot of good things about these PSUs and since I use Corsair RAM almost exclusively and have been impressed with the consistent quality of it, when I came into the market for a new PSU, I bought the 450VX. Great PSU. Runs very quiet and provides solid power and more than enough connectors for the mid tower case I have it in. Easily the best-quality PSU I've owned. Also, it's 80 Plus.
- Cons: None yet.
- Other Thoughts: Just ordered a second one for a friend's PC build.
Awesome.
- Pros: Easy installation, good clean power, no issues. Good efficiency and Corsair name were the selling points for me. Power bill has barely moved since switching from 4 year old laptop to new desktop.
- Cons: None so far. Another stupid-buyer syndrome issue here, as I found the 450W stated was the minimum for my video card, when I thought it would actually have a high overhead. But the card and whole system run fine, even when pushed fairly hard.
- Other Thoughts: Install was easy, chord management isn't too bad. Exudes quality throughout. Awesome purchase, I must say.
