Okay, it's a power supply. Not much excitement there unless it starts smoking, right? But if you can't work up excitement, how about some respect? Like the 41 Ampere +12V rail (and there's just the one +12V rail, so you don't have to balance your power needs by hand.). How about the ability to auto-sense your input voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac, 50/60Hz? No more damaging your supply because the voltage selector was in the wrong setting.
Run cooler, too, because it can be up to 85% efficient, meaning less waste heat from the supply. Compatible with both ATX 2.0 and ATX 2.2 systems, it includes long cables for even full-sized tower installations. Nvidia SLI support It includes power connections for six SATA drives. A 120mm variable speed fan with double bearings gives good airflow with minimal noise. Active power factor correction helps deal with inductive loads (drive and fan motors, mostly).
A modern power supply for modern computers, just for you.
Pros: Every connector you could ever need. VERY quiet fan. I'm running 2 HDD's, a dual core processor, PCI video card, a few case fans, and 2 DVD-R drives without any issue (as would be expected). One of my buddies referred me to Johnny Guru who gives a top-notch appraisal of this unit:
Cons: I didn't suck it up and buy a good power supply years ago.
Other Thoughts: I must have bought no less than 7 or 8 cheap power supplies in the last decade. Every time one went out, I rushed down to <insert generic computer parts store compatible with newegg's review policy> to buy the budget $30 everyday low price, everyday low quality power supply. This time when the original power supply that came with the case died on me, I thought I'd see what the expensive power supplies were all about. My conclusion: "they're worth it."

Pros: Excellent build quality. Components, case, cables, and even the resail packaging are all top notch.
Cons: I wish there was a connection to monitor fan speed, but this is minor. Also would like modular cables, but also not a big deal.
Other Thoughts: No problems running with an Intel Q6600, 8800 GT graphics, 2 hard drives in a striped RAID, and a CD/DVD drive.

Wow!! Great unit!

Pros: Had this unit for about 3 months, runs very solid and very quiet, fan is a nice touch, looks cool through my window. Unofficially rated at 60A on the +12V rail. Great unit overall, every possible connector you could want, loads of molex/sata cables. Great price for such a phenomenal unit. Comes with zip-ties and a cool sticker :)
Cons: Like I said, ALOT of connectors and ALOT of cables. The bottom of my Antec 900 is a mess but the cables are all bunched up so its alright. Would be nice if it was modular but not a huge deal.
Other Thoughts: Antec 900, 8800GT 512mb Overclocked, E6750 overclocked (3.45GHz), two WD Raptors, SB Audigy2 ZS, Samsung DVD DL Burner.

Pros: Good price. Stable performance. Corsair name and Corsair quality. Adequate for most LGA 1156 builds. Came with a bag, though I don't see why. Temperatures are reasonable.
Cons: 550 W might not be enough for Crossfire or SLI setups depending on the cards used. Make sure you do your research. (Some dual GPU cards might require more power, as well.)
Other Thoughts: i5 750- 2.69 GHz stock OC'd to 2.80 GHz 4GB G.Skill 1600 DDR3 Ram GIGABYTE GA-P55M-UD2 P55 mATX motherboard. HIS Radeon HD 4850 1 GB GPU WD Caviar Black 640 GB HDD Corsair 550W PSU (this one.) Cooler Master RC 690 Mid Tower case.
More than enough power for this very stable, moderately priced build.

Reliable, quiet

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Plenty of power, plenty of connections, quiet, smooth, I also like the black color.
Cons: Minor issues: this PSU is relatively heavy; I didn't need all the connections so it's kind of a mess inside the case. If only this were modular, things would appear much tidier.
Other Thoughts: I've installed it a few days ago to replace my old power supply and at first I was scared the fan wasn't spinning--it was that quiet! I was really impressed. What a fantastic product so far. Installation was painless.

It works

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: I installed it in my case and it works. Cables are shielded and are pretty long. It runs pretty tight voltages too...
Cons: Its only 550 Watts... Forget running SLI... not really a CON for me.
Other Thoughts: I had a 750 Watt power supply that wasn't exactly a trusted brand, and it ran ok for about 6 months and stopped working I'm trying to get it fixed under warranty so I have a decent back up if I ever need it.
I went with this model because I wasn't really using all of the wattage on the now dead one. So when I went to replace it I figured I should just get something that just works and has maybe an extra 100 Watts for just in case.
