Okay, it's a power supply. Not much excitement there unless it starts smoking, right? But this one is so cool, it's smokin'! Like the 52 Ampere +12V rail (and there's just the one +12V rail, so you don't have to balance your power needs by hand.). How about the ability to auto-sense your input voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac, 50/60Hz? No more voltage selector switches!
Run cooler, too, because it can be up to 80% efficient (tested at 20%, 50% and full load), meaning less waste heat from the supply. Compatible with both ATX 2.0 and ATX 2.2 systems, it includes long cables for even full-sized tower installations. Nvidia SLI support. It includes power connections for eight SATA drives. A 120mm variable speed fan with double bearings gives good airflow with minimal noise. Active power factor correction helps deal with inductive loads (drive and fan motors, mostly).
Give your computer a power supply that can keep up with the times.

perfect so far
- Pros: This PSU worked out of the box. Not one single problem, i suppose the first two guys with DOA's just got a bad lot. Anyhow, I LOVE the cabling, it installs very clean. More than enough hook-ups for 90% of people out there. 650w will run a pretty decent load even with a lot of SLI setups. Definitely recommend this PSU.
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: 100,000 MTBF means that if you left this running till it failed if would run for approx. 11 years. Look at the certifications and primarily the high potential amperages; this thing could power a welder if it needed to. Very robust.
- Pros: Stable voltage even under rather heavy load.
- Cons: The 2x 4 ATX12v wires were about 3" to short for my CM690 case.
- Other Thoughts: Corsair sure knows how to pack a box, it looked like you could drop the box from 10' and not hurt the psu inside.

Love it
- Pros: Plenty of cables, easy to install, and very quiet.
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: Corsair has a customer for life.
dead in the water
- Pros: Worked great while it lasted
- Cons: Well, i had it for just a little over 3 months and it started acting up, computer would just randomly shut off, but i really had no way to test it and it only happened about once a week, then it got more frequent, purchased this thing around march and about 2 months ago it would shut off 2-3 times per night, i thought it might be the graphics card i had going bad, but then the computer just plain wouldn't turn on. threw in my old antec and tested that, worked fine, put back in the corsair and stripped everything but barebones and yup, nothing would turn on.
- Other Thoughts: Friend referred me to Corsair, really hoping that they will replace it, if not, prolly going back to antec
Great While it Lasted
- Pros: Installed easy and did what it should.
- Cons: My computer is about 8 months old. Yesterday the computer seemed to freeze for a second then go black. Power supply died not sure yet if it was just the PS or if it took my whole system when it fried.
- Other Thoughts: I've been building my computers for years. This was my first Corsair. Up until this build I has always used a different power supply. This is my first power supply failure, ever. My fault for trying to save a few dollars. Even though this supply had great reviews from now on I'll stick with what I know.
