5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PSU.

Pros: Worked right out of the box.

This PSU puts out plenty of power for my desktop which requires quite a bit of energy to work. I am running about 4 harddrives, 2 power hungry AMD crossfire video cards, an overclocked quad core processor with plenty of power to spare.

These PSU's are built very well and are very aesthetically pleasing.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: After my OCZ PSU gave up, I decided to go with Corsair because it was recommended by my brother.

5 out of 5 eggsLasts forever

Pros: Quiet, powerful, great price

Cons: How does Corsair make money?

Other Thoughts: I was recently looking through my past new egg purchases and got to the last page. I bought this psu in 2009 and am still using it! It's been in 3 PCs now. I' currently running an Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz with an SAPPHIRE HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB GDDR5 VAPOR-X flawlessly.

I will forever buy Corsair products simply because of this psu.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Been running for ~3 yrs from a C2 Duo to a C2 Quad and now an i7/GTX770 and it is solid as the day I plugged it in.
Very quiet too.

I never buy cheap power supplies though this is probably the least expensive of the psu available (when I bought it) and even so it was rated very highly by reviewers and enthusiast forums due to its 'bang-for-the-buck' and being underated in its capability.

Cons: not modular... if that matters to you

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Power Supply

Pros: -Very quiet.
-Plenty of power cables.
-Cables come pre-wrapped in mesh sleeves which is nice.

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: I didn't realize this power supply operated in fan-less mode under low load, so at first I thought something was wrong. It turns out the fan does not operate under low load.

1 out of 5 eggsCaught on Fire

Pros: Don't know as if I can give it a pros comment - would you after you just saw flames coming out of your computer from your power supply

Cons: Turned the computer on to use it and the Power Supply unit caught on fire! Thank goodness we hadn't left the computer on when we weren't home because we could have come home to a pile of ashes!

Other Thoughts: Will be contacting the company to see what they will do about it. It's under warranty. Will post my results. I'm a bit nervous about having this power supply unit again.

5 out of 5 eggsRunning strong since 2010

Pros: I bought this PSU to build my PC about 3 years ago. Since then, it appears they've re-designed the label on the side, but it's the same model as the one I bought. It's still running solid and seems to be perfectly reliable, although I haven't tested the voltages or anything.

Cons: I wish it was modular, but I didn't expect it to be. I finally got the cable management thing down, so it's not a huge deal.

Other Thoughts: Corsair is a good brand and I would buy from them again.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 30 days...

Pros: It worked great for the first month.

Cons: This PSU died on me after only a month of average use.

Other Thoughts: I have returned the unit to Corsair about a week ago and haven't heard anything back from them. I will not be purchasing any more PSUs of this model.
