Okay, it's a power supply. Not much excitement there unless it starts smoking, right? 750 watts DOESN'T excite you? Maybe the 60 Ampere +12V rail (and there's just the one +12V rail, so you don't have to balance your power needs by hand.) will do the trick. How about the ability to auto-sense your input voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac, 50/60Hz? No more voltage selector switches!
Run cooler, too, because it can be up to 80% efficient (tested at 20%, 50% and full load), meaning less waste heat from the supply and smaller electrical bills.. Compatible with both ATX 2.0 and ATX 2.2 systems, it includes long cables for even full-sized tower installations. Nvidia SLI support. It includes power connections for eight SATA drives. A 140mm variable speed fan with double bearings gives good airflow with minimal noise. Active power factor correction helps deal with inductive loads (drive and fan motors, mostly).

Excellent supply
- Pros: Very well made. For many overclockers, having one +12v rail with a massive 60 amp capacity will provide absolute bedrock stability, which really helps keep a system running when you push it. It's not so much that your CPU or RAM is going to consume 60 amperes; but the pulses they generate as they switch will make HUGE picosecond demand on the abillity of the power supply to source or sink current. It's this ability to handle spiky demand on the rail that really makes for stability. If the supply can't cope, these rapid changes in demand will turn into NOISE on the rail, and the CPU and RAM will have a hard time telling the difference between noise on the rail and actual signals on their buses. This is why big, clean power supplies help the stability of a PC. Of course, all your drives, fans, video cards and so on also need capacity so this is also part of the equation.
- Cons: Modular cables would have been nice. I didn't need all the drive cables; I had room to tuck them out of the way, but not everyone would.
- Other Thoughts: Very attractive appearance. "Quality" feel.
The cooling design, with a big (140 MM fan) yields the best cooling with minimal noise. I found it VERY quiet / silent.
Comes in a velvet bag, like a bottle of Crown Royal.... ha ha ha.
The Right PSU
- Pros: Everything, I know you read tons of reviews before making a smart choice, but let me tell you, this is the one. It has a single 12v rail which will support your builds for years to come and has the comfort of a 5 year warrenty. It is ultra quite and runs cool since it has plenty of power. The long cables are good for a gamer who has a full tower case, but if you don't, then you'll have some extra cable to hide. However chances are if you are using a mATX then you don't need this much JUICE !!!!
- Cons: none so far, a guess a little pricey, but I shopped around and found a really good price with rebate !! (1/16)
- Other Thoughts: This is a great PSU and has tons of connectors for someone to build a monster build, or for someone who wants to later expand and not buy a new PSU everytime. Corsair has always been a fav. of mine and they have never disappointed. Here's my rig: Corsair PSU 750 || Corsair XMS2 C4 || Asus X-38 MAXIUMS mobo || Q6600 || EVGA 8800GTS || Zalman 9700 ( a must for anyone dummy! )
