2 out of 5 eggsEh, it was good while it worked

Pros: quiet, very powerful and reliable until recently.
7 year warranty

Cons: this is a 2 rail power supply, which doesn't really matter because when you lose one rail, you lose the whole thing.
let's see how the warranty holds up.

Other Thoughts: attempting to get in touch with corsair to provide a replacement.

with a 7 year warranty, you would expect it to last at least that long, hope corsair isn't losing money on this strategy.

2 out of 5 eggsFailure after 30 months

Pros: Quiet power supply with seemingly great power and convenient modular wire setup

Cons: Failed after 30 months and dead as a door nail.

Other Thoughts: I thought I was buying a premium brand but it's still made in China. Waiting to contact Corsair to see if the 7yr warranty will be honored.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Modular, quiet, and build quality. Ive had this thing for over 3 years now, and its still pushing. If they still made these i'd recommend it to them.

Cons: I didnt buy the 1000w version at the time of purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsCorsair Makes Terrible PSUS

Pros: Can be quiet when it works. Modular.

Cons: I bought this because I expected quality. This item had a 7 year warranty, but its build quality was so bad that it gave out after 3 years.

It was replaced by the warranty with Corsair AX 760i. That PSU is a modular one that has plugs into the PSU that are lose and drop power to the whole system until I push them back in again.

Other Thoughts: I really like their cases and have no problems with their RAM, but I'm never going to buy a PSU by Corsair again.

4 out of 5 eggs2 Year Life, Quick Replace

Pros: 750W, Fully Modular, plenty of protection built in so in the event of a failure it will not kill my equipment as well. Great customer service as well, when this PSU died on me about 2 years in, Corsair honored their 7 warranty with no questions treating me like I did it. They didn't carry the PSU anymore so they sent me the equivalent model tier from their new line. So I received a AX760 which is also Fully modular, and Platinum rated so that was great!

Cons: It was fully modular, but I didn't like that the slots on the PSU were no labeled. This didn't cause any problem with operation, but it was just a bit annoying.

The PSU did die in 2 years of normal use with no over clocking on a system with 2 660 Cards. I only kocked 1 egg off because Corsair was more than happy to replace the unit without batting an eye. I will buy corsair again, and since these are re-branded SeaSonics I will buy those as well.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good PSU

Pros: I've never had a problem out of this unit in the 4 years I've had it. I was looking for an 80 plus Gold for stability in my gaming rig, and am not let down. I'd recommend it to anyone. The modular design is well worth it. No wasted cords, better airflow.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I'm running an AMD Phenom II x4 970, Asus 6850 v1, and a bunch of hdd's and ssd's.

2 out of 5 eggsvery bad quality

Pros: silent, modular

Cons: will explode!

Other Thoughts: I bought this expensive psu, because i like quality, but this i had replace two times allready.
First time i heard an explosion, and it was gone.
I had it replaced, and then after a while it would not work sometimes. When i push my pc on, it won't start. Sometimes when i pull the plug it starts... very dissapointed with Corsair.

1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: The name?????

Cons: Ever single one of these that I bought lasted less then a year. I have bought this same unit 3 times due to temporary insanity and none of them work at all. The sad thing is cheaper power supplies that I have bought since then have lasted a whole lot longer then this garbage.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it because apparently their employees are paid peanuts because they could care less about quality.
