4 out of 5 eggsLooked of quality DOA

Pros: Seemed to be of quality sharp looking cant speak to function mine was DOA

Cons: DOA these things happin but that why I newegg ;) they (newegg) saved the day with free return shipping and quick refund so I could select a different unit

Other Thoughts: not regarding the product but newegg has done it again I was already loyal only to newegg online but after recent bad experience with a well know retail store now am 100% newegg loyal would rather wait for a product I trust from a retailer who's customer service is nothing but legendary!!!

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair has the best RMA if you ever need it!

Pros: I always buy Corsair PSUs due to their incredible build quality and stable volts (I measure them yes I do!).

I used to purchase PC_Power_&_Cooling PSUs but after OCZ has bought them out Im assuming their build quality is the same as OCZs faulty SSDs/PSUs (read other reviews theres plenty of failed SSD/PSU reviews on this site).

I never had a faulty PSU from Corsair but their RMA process is so seamless with memory/PSUs Ive helped friends RMA items and its always a joy since all you send is the faulty PSU and they usually send you an entire new PSU with box/cables etc!

I used this PSU to power the following
ASUS V Gene Z77
4DIMMS of DDR3
i7 2700K
GTX560Ti Classified
2x SSDs in Raid0
3x 3.5 2TB HDDs
And a few fans into the mix.

Picked this up for $29.99 after rebate :) and unlike other companies Corsair ALWAYS I MEAN ALWAYS sends you your $$$ when you process a rebate!

Cons: Green labels yuck, matches nothing except the extra cash I had in my wallet from saving so much money for this PSU.

This is the PSU you buy for your GFs computer so she can upload photos on Instagram or play FarmVille.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply, but short cables

Pros: we all know corsair makes quality products so I have confidence this supply and know they stand behind it. its quiet, i dont hear it at all. my other fans are louder.

Cons: cables are to short. I have mid tower, actually a smaller than avg case. cables barely reach my drives. i really wish the cables were longer to allow for better cable management.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Power supply is 80 Plus Bronze certified. All the cables are labeled and the install went with no problem. This unit is also very quiet.

Cons: One of the mounting holes felt like it was going to strip as I was using a screwdriver to install the unit.

Other Thoughts: I was going to buy a 550W unit that was Gold certified and modular. With the sale price and rebate, I saved $50.00. Definitely worth looking around before that final click.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Power Supply.

Pros: Easy to install.

Great length on cables. Easy on a midtower case.

Cons: The one hassle I had was plugging in the top port for the peripherals power on my MSI motherboard. The cable wasn't long enough at that point. Not a complaint though, because that was easily fixable.

Other Thoughts: The power supply is great. Runs my PC smoothly since first boot. My first PC build and its great. No trouble.

Recommended.

1 out of 5 eggsWorks great... for a while.

Pros: When it works, it works well!

Cons: This PSU was running my PC just fine for 4 months after purchase. Then, over about a 3 day period, it started supplying less and less power to the system until it finally only put out enough juice to power the mobo LEDs, but not even turn on. I'm not sure if this was a freak occurrence, but judging by the number of other negative reviews for this model, it seems like this PSU is prone to early deaths.

2 out of 5 eggsWeak

Pros: I bought the Cosair Carbide Series 300r/ Cosair Builder Series 500w cx, combo pack.awesome price, very happy with case. PSUis vey nice looking, easy to install, all wires are wrapped nicely, plenty f length for the Atx case, and has the 2 pci onnectors needed for my 7870 gpu. For what it's worthl, I was pleased and excited until I went to enjoy my hardware.

Cons: Not enough power !!!?!! Could be my fault, but. Was lured into ths by new egg comb packs. NO MORE! Such a great casecshould be paired with at least 700w.... Expansion is great, but the PSU can't keep up. Day 1 sucked. Returning this for an 850w.

Other Thoughts: It is quite , well built and I'm sure reliable or a non gaming system. Probably never going with a newegg combo again. Hope his return goes smoothly.
