4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Easy install.
Would recommend.

Cons: N.a.

Other Thoughts: Only issue i had was not realizing the the 8pin cable had a split in it to be able to be used for a 4pin so took me a little bit to figure that out, but that was my own ignorance

1 out of 5 eggsDOA And killed my MOBO

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Good price

Cons: -DOA
-Killed my MOBO and possibly my CPU

Other Thoughts: NewEgg can't do anything about it and Corsair's warranty is just for returns on the PSU itself. I have used many Corsair PSUs in the past, but never had to deal with their customer service before. It's just INCREDIBLY frustrating that a BRAND NEW component can destroy the rest of my computer and no one is responsible for it. If this were a brand that had a bad reputation, some no-name PSU manufacturer from a random stand on the street, I would understand. but this is CORSAIR bought from NEWEGG.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked great until it didn't.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -looks nice

Cons: I got this power supply less than a month ago. It started whining a couple of days ago. After reading reviews and seeing other peoples psu's working after whining, I kept using it. The cx600 just gave out during a csgo match. I just hope my hardware isn't fried.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome power supply -- though be careful if this has a rebate

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Does exactly what a power supply should do

Cons: I bought this back in 2015 because it was listed that you can get a $20 visa card as a rebate. Turns out Corsair does not honor the rebate because "The UPC code you submitted is not valid for this promotion." quite disappointed.

so basically, if it's on sale be careful and check to see if it's a rebate or you actually get money off at the end of the order (promo code or something).

5 out of 5 eggsPower Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Works as supposed to
Quiet

Cons: For purposes for cord management, I wish the cords were 1 inch longer. Had a difficult time plugging in the 8 pin where I didn't feel it was going to hard the motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: - Does its job
- Quiet

Cons: - Cables seemed a bit stiff compared to other PSUs I have worked with which made cable management a bit hard.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely make sure your case has a place to stash the excess cables if you are using this PSU.

3 out of 5 eggsUnit works fine but rebate has issue.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: The unit seems to be working fine.

Cons: The rebate center kept saying the UPC received is invalid and never received a $20 rebate.

3 out of 5 eggsIt works, but quiet?

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Decent piece of hardware. No complaints other than I mean to order a modular PSU.

Cons: Noise.

Other Thoughts: Something else of note is this PSU is anything but silent. Makes this awful racket that I can only assume is the fan. Unfortunately for me, without buying another PSU (I have another one that doesn't work with my case Silverstone SG13) I am stuck with this terrible noise or go fan mounted up

2 out of 5 eggsHappy with this item

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Solid product, wires have protective sleeve that helps keep them organized as well

it was advertised at 40$ when I bought it. $80 slash by 25% to $60 and then an additional 20$ in the form of a visa prepaid card via Corsair rebate center. Unforunately, navigating their rebate was a total pain in the rear and it took me longer to earn that 20$ than I could have earned it at work. However, I persevered due to principle. Still waiting to see if they give me a hard time with the rebate or not, but seems like I will get it.

Cons: It was a little hard to fit all the wire in my mid-tower. its a little messy, but a few zip ties did the trick. However, when I install new items these wires will be in the way and I need to ask a family member to hold a wire out of the way for a minute or two while I do what I need to. This is really more a con of my mid tower, so im sure someone with a bigger tower will have no problem. 600w is plenty of power for me, despite people telling me never get anything under 750.

I will never buy a Corsair product as a value buy again if it requires me to go through their rebate process. Terrible. Absolutely terrible

Other Thoughts: I will never buy corsair product again because of their shady rebate process.
