5 out of 5 eggsSeems to be good after a year of constant use!

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I have had this running for about a year in my LGA-1155 system. At times, I have left the computer on for more than 14 days in a row. No problems so far!

Cons: Might not be enough watts for your requirements. Not modular. There may be an ozone odour upon startup for the first time.

Other Thoughts: What can I say -- It works, and seems to be pretty solid!

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what its supposed to.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Works as advertised. Seems to be pretty well made. Fan is fairly quite. Cables are plenty long, sleeving is well done.

Cons: The rebate process is a joke. If you can't do any better than this Corsair then don't even offer the rebates to begin with....

Other Thoughts: PSU is great, Corsairs rebate service on the other hand, is not........

In this day and age it should not take 12 weeks to process a rebate and mail a card.

3 out of 5 eggsFailed after 4 months...

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Cheap, 80+ Bronze, and didn't take out anything else when it went out.

Cons: I'm not going to give it 1 egg for it going bad after 4 months because this is the 3th PSU I've gone through in the last 15 months. I'm beginning to think it may be my motherboard causing them to go bad... First one was a raidmax SS series, then a Thermaltake from best buy, now this corsair. I used the express RMA and hopefully this one lasts longer. I'm going to be replacing my motherboard soon as well...

Other Thoughts: Like all my other power supplies, this one was working fine, turned off, went to bed, woke up, turned on, dead. All 3 of them in the last year or so have gone bad the same way. They haven't taken out anything with them and never gave any kind of warning.

System Specs:
CPU: AMD FX 6300
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6770
Motherboard: MSI AM3+ 970A-G46
Memeory: Adata Gaming 8GB 1600
HDD: WD Black 7200 RPM Sata 6gb/s
2 best buy house brand 120mm case fans

gonna switch to a gigabyte UD3P motherboard and hopefully have a more stable system that won't keep blowing PSU's
