5 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply one year later

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I have used this power supply for over a year now with no issues.

Cons: Active PFC power supplies are not compatible with cheaper Uninteruptible Power Supplies (UPS).

Other Thoughts: If you have limited room in your case you should think about a modular power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsNice cheap power supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: - Corsair PSUs are reliable
- 3 year warranty
- Includes all cables you'll need with a power supply of this wattage
- Inexpensive
- Smaller than most PSUs

Cons: - Non-modular

5 out of 5 eggsGreat and Amazing

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -This PSU is great.
- 8 Sata power and 2 pcie connectors!!
-First time making a PC

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: -Would recommend buying a case fan adapter. I bought Cooler Master n200 mini tower case. Not sure if I need one though.
-If I were making another pc I would definitely buy again!
- If I could fix something about this it would be easier system fan plug in.
-In my build i7 4790k, 16gb ram ddr3 G. Skill, Gigabyte Z97 mini atx lga 1150, PNY 2gb graphics, PNY 240gb ssd Sata 6, windows 10, Cooler Master n200 mini tower, and this PSU.

********* Buy an anti static wrist strap ******* seriously. If brand new or want to try out the build I recommend it. Lightning fast desktop PC

3 out of 5 eggsWorked great for about a year

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Pros: Easy install with all screw holes properly aligned (an issue with some PSUs and cases), nice long cables with mesh wrapping, voltage was steady.

Cons: Fan went south at about a bit under a year (awful grinding noise that you know is the sound of bad bearings), and it stopped pushing out enough power to even completely turn on the system. It pushed out enough to start the fans and the drives, but not enough to crank over the CPU nor power on the GPU.

Other Thoughts: 3/5 Eggs because the product was good when it worked, but less than a full year of life out of a PSU is bad, especially one from a company like Corsair. Not going to bother with an RMA because the shipping costs are over 50% of what I paid for the PSU to begin with.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Easy install.
Would recommend.

Cons: N.a.

Other Thoughts: Only issue i had was not realizing the the 8pin cable had a split in it to be able to be used for a 4pin so took me a little bit to figure that out, but that was my own ignorance

1 out of 5 eggsDOA And killed my MOBO

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Good price

Cons: -DOA
-Killed my MOBO and possibly my CPU

Other Thoughts: NewEgg can't do anything about it and Corsair's warranty is just for returns on the PSU itself. I have used many Corsair PSUs in the past, but never had to deal with their customer service before. It's just INCREDIBLY frustrating that a BRAND NEW component can destroy the rest of my computer and no one is responsible for it. If this were a brand that had a bad reputation, some no-name PSU manufacturer from a random stand on the street, I would understand. but this is CORSAIR bought from NEWEGG.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked great until it didn't.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -looks nice

Cons: I got this power supply less than a month ago. It started whining a couple of days ago. After reading reviews and seeing other peoples psu's working after whining, I kept using it. The cx600 just gave out during a csgo match. I just hope my hardware isn't fried.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome power supply -- though be careful if this has a rebate

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Does exactly what a power supply should do

Cons: I bought this back in 2015 because it was listed that you can get a $20 visa card as a rebate. Turns out Corsair does not honor the rebate because "The UPC code you submitted is not valid for this promotion." quite disappointed.

so basically, if it's on sale be careful and check to see if it's a rebate or you actually get money off at the end of the order (promo code or something).

5 out of 5 eggsPower Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Works as supposed to
Quiet

Cons: For purposes for cord management, I wish the cords were 1 inch longer. Had a difficult time plugging in the 8 pin where I didn't feel it was going to hard the motherboard.
