5 out of 5 eggsDoes what I need it to.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Comes with all the connections you need, you can use 6 pins or 8 for your video card(s). Has more pins you can connect to your Mother board power and your processors power, but can remove them if you don't need them.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Works
shielded cables

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I don't know how anyone can have any great thought about a power supply. You can read the power rating and number of connectors in the specs. I installed it on 11/2013 and as of 7/2014 it is doing its job.

Put it in
Plug it in
It works

What more is there to a power supply?

5 out of 5 eggsThis is a very powerful 600 watt PSU

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I had this for over a year already, this has been used for a gaming rig, then a mining rig then back to a gaming rig. This thing powered 2 HD 6970's which each consume more than 200 watts; 24/7 for about 1 month until I sold my mining rig. There was no power deleivery failure during that time.

Cons: Not modular

Other Thoughts: This PSU now powers:
Core i5 2500
2x4gb ram
Windforce R9 280x
1 enterprise WD 250gb
1 64gb ADATA ssd
1 xonar dg
4 case fans (3(2 are LED fans) 120mm, 1 140mm)

I would recommend this PSU to anyone, except 600 watt is a bit too much for a single GPU rig.

Pros: Great buy. Half the price of similar CPU's with 80 Plus rating and that's not taking into account the $20 rebate!!

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet as Heck

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I bought this to replace a very loud and very low quality power supply that I bought in in 2009. The old power supply plastic was brittle and was literally crumbling.

This power supply is quiet. I turned it on and hardly knew it was on. My computer only came semi-loud when I plugged in my hard drives. The plastic seems tough and rugged.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Seems like a good power supply.

2 out of 5 eggsworked great for 12 months

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Fair price, efficient, relatively quiet, and a variety of of connection options

Cons: Died after 12 months of use. Corsair Customer Support was unwilling to accept that the unit died even after I benched the PC and replaced the PS with a new one and it worked fine. the RMA was too much of a hassle to deal with.

Other Thoughts: Purchase the Corsair CX600 for less that $50.00 and be prepared to warranty it yourself and you'll be fine.
