CORSAIR Bronze Certified GS Series power supply is a great price/performance choice for gamers who need an efficient and reliable power supply that’s designed to look great in gaming rigs. It features active PFC, auto AC-input voltage adjustment (100 - 240V), and over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and short circuit protection to provide maximum safety for your critical system components. 140mm color adjustable LED fan with optional accent ring produces not only efficient cooling but also brilliant eye-catching fun that makes your power rig stand out immediately.

  • newegg 700W Power Output with Single 12V Rail The CORSAIR Gaming Series GS700 power supply delivers rated 700W of safe, reliable output for your computer systems. One single strong +12V rail with 2x 6+2-Pin PCIe connectors can juice up your high-end CPU and even multiple graphics cards.
  • newegg 80 PLUS Bronze Certified The 80 PLUS Bronze certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100% (up to 85% energy efficiency under real-world load conditions for this model), saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
  • newegg Customize your look If you're serious about building gaming PCs, your PC's look is important. The color ring accessory pack, available separately, lets you match your GS Series PSU's accent ring color to your system's look, and the fan has red, white and blue LEDs (blue only on the GS600) to bathe the inside of your system in soft light. Running in stealth mode? You can turn off the lighting with a hardware switch that's accessible from outside the case.
  • newegg NVIDIA SLI Ready & AMD CrossFireX Certified The CORSAIR Gaming Series GS700 is AMD CrossFireX and NVIDIA SLI Ready and comes with 2x 6+2 Pin PCI-E connectors enabling you to build a high performance multi-GPU gaming system.
  • newegg Quiet Cooling with Fanless Mode at Low load A good gaming power supply must provide the cooling you need when you're pushing it hard, but it should be quiet when you're not. GS Series PSUs accomplish this through excellent efficiency — it generates less heat, so it requires less cooling — and a temperature-controlled 140mm fan that automatically adjusts its speed to meet demand. It doesn't even spin up until it's needed.
  • newegg Reliable No matter what your budget, your PC's power supply shouldn't go before its time. GS Series PSUs are built with carefully selected components to deliver a temperature rating of 40° C, for years of service in punishing environments. The fan uses a double ball bearing design to help ensure that it lasts as long as the internal circuitry.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Power Supply

Pros: I bought this in an emergency situation from a local store. It replaced one that got so hot the cooling fins contorted from the heat. I slapped this one in and it has worked every since quietly supplying power. It survided what the other one could not an AMD overclocking test. My machine is a an unlocked AMD FX6100 (I know I wish I had the 8 core). The CPU is chilled by a Kuhler H20 620. It is rated at 3.3 GHz but has been running fine at 4.1 GHz for over a year. Using a Gigabyte 870A-USB3 with 16 GB AMD gamer series memory (over clocked) and a Gigabyte HD6850 graphics card (over clocked). Internal 180 GB Intel 330 SSD, Internal WD 500 MB, external WD My Book Essentail 1.5 TB USB 3.0. TP-Dlink PCI 300 Mbps wireless N. iMicro internal card reader with 1 USB. Four fans of various sizes. Finally a 27" Vizio HD monitor so I can see what is going on. Well not quite finally I am waiting for an internal WD 2 TB, 7200, 64MB. Then I can use the My Book for a backup unit as it was designed for. Should be here by the weekend...

Cons: Installing the cables was a little challenging and I wish the internal fan on the PSU would come on a little more often so I know it is working.

Other Thoughts: Curious to see what the 8 core 220 watt 9590 does to the equation.

5 out of 5 eggsRunning Fine

Pros: LED lights to light up the back of your PC

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I haven't had any problems with this power supply. I haven't noticed any loud fan noise, or any sort of thing the other reviewers here have experienced. I've had this power supply for about 2 months.

1 out of 5 eggsComes with custom fan noise....

Pros: Powers on

Cons: Super annoying floppy disk sounds coming from the psu fan. My led changes colors at random. Now this unit is being Discontinued. That says it all. Bought this product less than 2 months ago.

Other Thoughts: Think they should maybe test a product before marketing it. I need to RMA but I can't be without a psu. Nice job you got me this time corsair but never again.

2 out of 5 eggsIt's not a bug, it's a FEATURE!

Pros: It works... but...

Cons: The fan "feature" is delightful if you don't mind a strange electrical "grinding" noise as the fan starts and tries to run at slow speeds. If you don't mind the sound (and you're a better person than I if you don't), then I'm sure this fan is just lovely. But if you are easily annoyed by sounds, or have a wife with Misophonia, then beware. As far as Corsair is concerned, check the forums and make your decision accordingly... they offered a fast RMA (11 days ago) but still no word. As the system is WAY built (and g-d help me if I have to undo my sexyfuntime cordwrapping), I don't see a way that I'd be willing to remove this, send it back and get another replacement with the exact same 'feature'. I added more fans and devices to see if i could draw more power, and thereby cause the fan to spin "sooner", but alas, not happening. Maybe I'll hook a 150watt lightbulb to it or something, and draw a lot of power, and heat the case up so that the fan comes on... yeah... you see where this is going.

Other Thoughts: It has a nifty glowing led. If only I could make the colors change fast enough to hypnotize my loved ones to ignore the sound of the fan's slow start up grinding...

2 out of 5 eggs noisy operation.

Pros: Runs silent under very light loads.

Cons: As soon as I do anything other than browse the fan makes a dreadful high pitched noise.

Other Thoughts: If you put any thought into how much noise you build makes avoid this power supply. I build a very quiet pc so that the only noise I hear is the unpleasant buzz as this power supply rapidly switches the fan on and off. Very disappointing.

5 out of 5 eggsCool fan

Pros: Don't be alarmed when your fan doesn't run. I found out that it'll only run when needed..which is a good thing. pretty cool on the color changes; blue is what i keep it at.

Cons: none

1 out of 5 eggsIrritating

Pros: Delivers rated power.Seems to be well built.

Cons: Fan makes an irritating chirping noise on thermal start up, does not go away unless the temp increases quite a bit. Returned original unit for replacement, same noise from second unit. Put it back in the box and am using my 3 year old coolermaster. If you want quiet operation, look elsewhere. This noise is a known problem with Corsair's thermally controlled units. Check their forums!

4 out of 5 eggs700 watts of silence

Pros: The psu works as advertised. the fan only turns only when the sensors tell it to. It has enough cable length to efficiently bring power to whatever you need

Cons: whenever the fan does turn on it does make a slight noticeable sound, and as far as i can tell there is no manual way to control the fan.
