5 out of 5 eggsVery good product

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: The pros is this is an excellent product from a great company. I had no issues with it, although I was pretty overwhelmed when I first saw all the cables.

Cons: The only con I can think of is my own fault. I meant to order the modular version and messed up. But, it worked, and everything is running fine.

Other Thoughts: Yes, I would. The only thing that might make me not recommend it is you will have a lot of unused cables still lying around and needing to be managed. For that reason, I'd say go with the modular version. But use the same manufacturer.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, solid psu

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: + Cheap (I paid $60, $40 after rebate)
+ 750 watts
+ Quiet
+ Seems sturdy

Cons: - Not modular, lots of cables in thick casings.

Other Thoughts: This PSU is high quality for the price I paid. But regardless, this is the last time I am getting a non-modular PSU. Make sure you get a case with a lot of room for a bundle of unused cables.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU, does what it's supposed to do...just not modular

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Solid, quality feel, yet value priced relatively. Only had 8 months but so far so good...we'll see if it holds up, fully expect it to...
Love the wrapping/sleeve on cables; makes them easy to handle and turn.
Plenty of connectors for most needs.

Cons: Not really a con, but it isn't modular. My fault in jumping the gun to build but did find it on sale for $30 less than currently priced.
And one more pick: why is it now $10 LESS than the CX750M?? Would expect modular to be more...but I guess the 750M is very popular...

Other Thoughts: Would definitely recommend; can;t really go wrong. I had to work a bit to hide extra cables and close my case due to extra cables and not enough room for them in my case...but it was fine in end....if you just take your time you can place things where it all works out. Solid product.

2 out of 5 eggsWas nice for the short while it was working.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: It worked out of the box.

Cons: Had a short life, I give it about 7 months of light use. Bought it for about $80 because I believed this was a great choice in a PSU. I will see about a warranty but I will hold my doubts.

Other Thoughts: I have not tested the rest of my system to see if it killed anything. One day it just did not turn on. Highly doubt I will buy anything PSU related from Corsair. I do love their cases and fans though.

1 out of 5 eggsPerhaps corsair has changed

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Worked great for a little longer than a year. Great price, got it on sale at the same price as the same 500W.

Cons: Sadly, after about a year it died. No flash, no flames, no smoke, just no juice. Fan won't run, no lights on motherboard. Was running fine, then I put the computer in sleep mode, when I pushed the power button, everything turned off and no response since. Real bummer. Too bad I bought this before all the reviews came out about how aweful the CX series is.
Wish I hadn't bought from the bad batch.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Power supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Runs quiet and have had no issues with this.

Cons: Actually too many cables and connectors for my needs. I had to work too hard hiding the extra cables but its my fault for not buying modular.

Other Thoughts: If I had to do over I would purchase a Corsair modular psu but I have this unit 18 months with zero problems.

4 out of 5 eggsHighly dependable for 3 years - almost

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC 80 Plus Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: High quality workmanship, quiet.

Cons: The insulated cables are thick and cannot be removed from device if not needed. They must all be tucked inside of the computer, restricting air flow and impeding access to other components if needed.

Other Thoughts: 11/23/2012: Purchased as part of a Christmas gift set for son.
12/18/2015: Power supply fails.
Warranty duration: 3 years
