5 out of 5 eggsReliable so far!

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: - Detachable power cables so you only use what you need
- Long mobo cable for bigger cases
- A lot of power options
- Good upgrade for some Dell machines!
- Reliable
- Very quiet in "hybrid" mode!

Cons: - Tight fit (in a stock case)
- Cable management for smaller cases is so-so (since longer cables)
- Not so quiet in "Normal" mode

Other Thoughts: I like the amount of options you get with cables. It's very compatible with a lot of different newer-gen mobos. This DOES work with Skylake by the way for those of you concerned about your unlocked "K" i7s.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat for 2 weeks

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: - Silent
- Efficient
- Modular cabling made for a very clean install

Cons: - During a gaming session all power to the computer went off. All attempts to turn the computer back on failed. The motherboard (GA‑Z170X‑GAMING 7) lights were still receiving power, but I suspected the power supply so I connected an old (nearly 10 years old) Corsair HX520 and the computer booted right up. Tried the AX760 on a different computer and same issue (failed to power on the computer) but some of the motherboard lights came on.

Other Thoughts: - Even though the power supply failed during a gaming session I wasn't putting a huge amount of load on it.

No overclock:
Core i7 6700k
EVGA 980Ti FTW
Corsair H100i gtx
1x SSD
2x Case fans
2x8GB Ram
Now I'm going to go through the RMA process. Hopefully after receiving a replacement AX760 my next update will be a positive one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat looking and silent.

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Fully modular. Lots of sata power (3 wires w/ 4x sata) and of varying lengths. Silent in hybrid mode. (I presume normal is quiet too).

Aesthetics. If that matters to you than that's where this unit may get a leg up. All the wires at each end of any particular cable are colored black. None of that ugly, multi-color junk that can make your otherwise nice looking case build a little less nice looking. The side label also reads right side up regardless of your unit's orientation of choice (an small annoyance on many other units to this day). There's a back label near main switch which gives it a clean look (would read upside down if you face your fan upwards). Comes with a good retaining bag for all your extra cables.

Cons: While the cable bag is nice and durable, easy to carry, the 2nd included bag, the one for carrying the power supply is not viable for daily use. Whenever I carry around my power supply (and who doesn't, right!?) to parties, the beach, the park (etc, etc), I find that the included bag is just too flimsy and thin. The drawstring feels inadequate for the weight. A nice, Gucci power supply carrying bag might be more befitting of this unit, and more stylish. An embroidered Corsair logo (rather than cheap silk-screening) would also enhance my enjoyment as I carry my power supply around.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Quite
Fully modular and black cables

Cons: All the SATA plugs are 90 degree, even ends. Had to use adapters to plug into SSDs that mount flat to power supply shroud.

Other Thoughts: Works great and provides plenty of power for system.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome PSU!!

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: This thing is great,it has two modes to put on it which make the fans spin,or sit still till it reaches its hot point then kicks on.looks great for my red/Blk themed build I just finished.the provided cables are very nice as well, totally black with no color showing so it looks great to the eye if your not using custom cables.comes with nice zip ties if you need and a nice cloth bag for unit and one for cables as well!!

Cons: None that ive come across.

Other Thoughts: I like everything about this, but if running lots of different thing maybe grab the 860 to be safe, thou I have this thing running sli 970 cards and I have a high end led fan control, and and hardwired H100i GTX Pump to it,so,itll hold its own and still run safe and not have to worry!

3 out of 5 eggsProduct Review

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: 1. It worked like a charm ..... for 5 days

2. The new one works

Cons: 1. In my experience my first PSU hit critical failure after 5 days of pretty normal use maybe 20-25 hours of operations total, but the way Newegg and Corsair handled the return made me very happy. just sucks but Im an adult and I know these things happen

Other Thoughts: So after 5 days I powered it off and it wouldnt power back on, after some testing I found it was the PSU that died.... 3 days to send it back in 1 day processing, 3 days to get my new one and Im back up and running. Im running a decently powery hungry system used for gaming and video editing. It does its job. I am very happy with how the return was handled and the spd in which I got my replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsWell built to last

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: This unit is very heavy, and even the included power cable is thicker than I've ever seen. Like many reviewers, I have not seen/heard the fan kick in yet. Being fully modular makes for an easy and clean build as well.

Cons: The wires are very stiff. Hope they soften over time. It might be awkward to put in the sata cable if you have two 2.5" drives sandwiched together.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best from Corsair, as usual.

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: -Been working flawlessly for over 2 years now
-Very quiet
-Have had absolutely no issues

Cons: No cons whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I've had this power supply running nearly 24/7/365 for over 2 years. It's powering an Asus Maximus VI Hero board, a 4th gen Intel Core i7, a GTX 770, an SSD and two HDDs. No issues. Very nice selection of cables included with this PSU as well.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply the best

This review is from: CORSAIR AX series AX760 760W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Full modular design is such an amazing upgrade from a half modular one.
If power use is an issue, I have seen slight improvements in my electric bills since going from 80 Plus Bronze to 80 Plus Platinum.
The provided cables (i.e. 24 pin power, 8 pin pci, sata power) are ALL BLACK, which is so nice not having the 'Ketchup and Mustard' cables.

Cons: Haven't had any issue yet.

Other Thoughts: Would highly recommend this product.
