GS series gaming power supply units offer efficient and reliable power delivery without comprising value and style. They are 80 PLUS Bronze certified with up to 85% energy efficiency under real-world load condition. Carefully selected components offer a temperature rating of 40° C for premium reliability. Color adjustable LED fan can switch between red, blue, white, and off settings by pressing the button on the back (600W model – blue or off mode only). The color accessory pack (available separately) allows you to swap out the blue accent ring to match your PC’s color scheme.

  • newegg Customize your look Your desire to customize your power supply can be satisfied now. The color ring accessory pack, available separately, lets you match your GS Series PSU's accent color to your system's look, and the fan has red, white and blue LEDs (blue only on the GS600) to bathe the inside of your system in soft light. Running in stealth mode? You can turn off the lighting with a hardware switch that's accessible from outside the case.
  • newegg Quiet Operation A good gaming power supply must provide the cooling you need when you're pushing it hard, but it should be quiet when you're not. GS Series PSUs accomplish this through excellent efficiency — it generates less heat, so it requires less cooling — and a temperature-controlled 140mm fan that automatically adjusts its speed to meet demand. It doesn't even spin up until it's needed.
  • newegg Reliable No matter what your budget, your PC's power supply shouldn't go before its time. GS Series PSUs are built with carefully selected components to deliver a temperature rating of 40° C, for years of service in punishing environments. The fan uses a double ball bearing design to help ensure that it lasts as long as the internal circuitry.
  • newegg Compatible GS Series PSUs are build-friendly, with enough connectors to power just about any gaming rig you can imagine, and extra-long cables for full-tower case support and creative cable routing. It fits any ATX PC case, and works with ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX, and E-ATX, and all other ATX-compatible motherboards.

1 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR GS series GS600 600W

Pros: Worked

Cons: After 6 months of use, this PSU fried and also fried my motherboard with it.

Other Thoughts: I was able to use the warranty on the motherboard, I am second guessing whether if I should use the warranty on this PSU, as it not only broke itself but broke my motherboard too.

4 out of 5 eggsVery snazzy

Pros: This is a nice psu if you want something flashy in a nice looking case, where you could actually see the light. It power's right up, and I haven't had any power issue's.

Cons: Noisy, Fan doesn't turn on unless it get's hot.

Other Thoughts: I bought this product, because the psu I had essentially wasn't able to power my rig anymore, and because it is supposed to be made by a reliable company, and even though it is a little expensive if it last me longer then my last psu, it will be worth the money.

1 out of 5 eggsUptime quicker than me (<5 minutes)

Pros: New design looks cool, I like the modular design versus the old CX models. Single 12v rail. Was overkill on the 12v rail amp rating for my a basic gaming build.

Cons: Lasted 5 minutes, heard a loud pop, then a lovely smell (melting plastic or enamel) and the lights went out, swapped with my old psu thank goodness everything still works. Seems every once in a while I get a bad corsair psu, makes me mad but you'll find other reviews of them popping and going out completely. I also noticed the large fan never came on. (this same thing happened once to a cx430 I used.

Other Thoughts: I hope they work on their quality control a bit more as I rely on them now that pc p&c has gone down a bit on their quality since another company bought them out. I may go back to Seasonic.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and stylish PSU

Pros: I was reluctant to purchase this PSU after reading about so many of them coming DOA. I have yet to have a problem with this power supply and it has been on constantly since i purchased it a week ago.

Cons: No cons

1 out of 5 eggsDOA... again

Pros: Looks cool, I guess? Would be great if it provided basic function.

Cons: Does not power on :<

Other Thoughts: Third power supply I've ordered via this site- getting real tired of it, as I pay return shipping on RMAs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Non-Modular PSU

Pros: This is a great low price PSU. I wouldnt buy less than Bronze certified.
This PSU provides more amperage to the rails than other PSUs I had compaired. Great job Corsair!

Cons: Not Modular, but I was being cheap on this build. (comparatively).

5 out of 5 eggsLovin It!

Pros: Works as advertised
Stable!
love the variable fan (it barely runs if at all my case has awesome airflow and doesn't need it)
Led lighting matches
on/off button for led!

Cons: I just needed 1 more inch on my MB 8pin to hide it behind the MB in my case. Had to run it over the top. All the other cables were plenty long!

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 3 months

Pros: Good Wattage for the price.

Cons: Died after 3 months of purchase, I bought it on 3/30/13 and it died 6/6/13.

Fan was inconsistent from day one but I thought it was the power supplies automatic fan control.

Other Thoughts: I was going to go with another power supply from corsair but this one dropped in price at the last minute so I ended up going with it... only to have it die.
