5 out of 5 eggsEasy setup

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: - Modular!
- Quiet!
- Great sale price for 750W.

Cons: - Can't compare the airborne velocity of different varieties of swallow.

Other Thoughts: Once you go modular you'll never go back. Since I'm only using 3 SATA devices, and they were close enough together in the case, I was able to get away with using only one cable, which greatly reduces clutter.

2 out of 5 eggsName brand that falls short

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: - Works and is easy to install.
- It's a power supply, so there's not much else you can say. Either they work or they don't, and this one does work with no issues

Cons: - The issue is not necessarily with the power supply itself, but the fans. Within a year or so the fans just started sounding terrible. I can't say I will ever buy another Corsair PSU.

Other Thoughts: - I would not recommend this product. It's hard to recommend a PSU that barely has any hours on it and the fans already sound like the bearings are ready to fall out.

5 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Worked perfectly from the start.
It's very quiet (no coil whine).
So far, 6 months of excellent usage with no mishaps.

Cons: No complaints, very satisfied.

Other Thoughts: Other people seemed to have received defective PSUs.
Mine wasn't purchased from Newegg.

1 out of 5 eggsBarely a year

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Computer turned on and it was easy to install

Cons: Smelled horrible when it died. Barely lasted over a year. Started getting problems with my mobo and video card and then it just shut off and never came back on.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Power Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Does the job

Cons: Makes you pay for return shipping for RMA when it was their screw up, they should pay for return shipping for selling a faulty product.

Other Thoughts: Had this power supply for about 4 months now. It's a solid power supply. Does the job. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it had a coil whine to it whenever it was under load and the RMA process made me pay return shipping. I shouldn't be on the hook for shipping because their quality control department didn't properly control the quality. That whine should have been caught and discarded, not sold as a new product. They should pay for their screw up, not the customer.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed in a year

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: Powerful, efficient, quiet, worked great for almost a full year.

Cons: began to fail 9 days before a year of ownership, used on a basic pc no mods or extreme gaming.
began to produce a foul burning smell
warranty procedure according to manufacturers website seems daunting and time consuming, an account must be created and a RMA issued. No clear mention of who pays shipping charges for returned items.

Other Thoughts: waste of time and money in my case.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible product.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: None.

Cons: Over $650 spent in labor/parts reconciling the issue and re-installation of a new PSU. Also lost wages (working from home) for the down time from this.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsMore than enough power for your computer. Easy to use.

This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified

Pros: -750W means that there is room to upgrade your rig with more power hungry components.
-Very quite
-Easy installation with my corsair 500W case
-Comes with plenty of cords

Cons: -Could have a better energy certification, but you get what you pay for
-The manual could contain more useful information, but that's what the internet is for.

Other Thoughts: Get it, it's great
