5 out of 5 eggsRunning Smooth

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I'm a big lover of Corsair products, and it was a pretty easy decision to make this purchase since 3 of my roommates in my apartment have the exact same model as well inside of their computer. All of them ranging from Intel CPU's, AMD APU's, different generations of Nvidia Video Cards, along with various other components and none of them ever having an actual problem that could relate to a power supply issue.

I purchase it mainly because I was buying a new video card, Nvidia Geforce 770 GTX, and my current power supply would not be able to handle the load, along with the fact that I enjoy modular power supplies. After installing the new video card along with the power supply, I've haven't had any issues or problem. So yay!

Cons: Can't think of any cons, of course I mean I would be happy if prices on things like this power supply would go down, but that kinda goes for almost all computer parts.. I mean.. EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FREE! 8D

But the price point for this product is not bad.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat if you can ignore the coil whine

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I got it for a good price, it's super easy to install, it's modular, everything is clearly labeled.

Cons: Under load, there is a bit of coil whine. It isn't horrible, and i normally play with headphones, but when i don't i usually notice it. Not a /terribly/ huge issue as it works, but it really irks me

Other Thoughts: Despite the coil whine, i'd say it's worth it if you get a good price

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Great modular system. Very quite so far.

Cons: none as of yet

Other Thoughts: Went with the 750 instead of the or for my micro atx build simply because it will be one less thing I wiill have to upgrade later on. Corsair has great stuff and this is no exception. Only change I would make would be to label the cables.

2 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: It has the power and connections I need.

Cons: Random loss of power when under load. I can't find why. GPU and CPU temperatures are fine, memory diagnostics come up with nothing, hard drives function as intended, and there is nothing wrong with the wiring in the wall. There isn't even a specific amount of time under load when it will shut off. I wanted to assume it was a problem within Windows, but I've observed the lights on the motherboard when my computer restarts, and I'm completely losing power. It isn't just a simple reset that can be put on a BSOD or anything like that.

Other Thoughts: The fan is a bit louder than I'm used to, but isn't much noticeable unless there is no other noise in the room.

5 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I bought one of these when I built my last computer. It met all my demands without any hangups and it is relatively quiet. It doesn't create a lot of heat while running and being fully modular you can really customize your wiring needs.

Cons: Didn't come with mounting screws however, that being the worst thing I have to say about this power supply unit, I would also like to point out that I bought another one to put in my next computer build because it's exemplary performance.

5 out of 5 eggsPleased so far....

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: SLI Ready
Quiet
Like the flat cabling

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I actually purchased mine refurbished, I have owned mine for about a month now, and I experience no coil whine as others have. While the fan does tend to ramp up comparative to load, the difference in sound is till barely noticeable to me. It runs my comp just fine, just to give you an idea...

125W CPU
2 Nvidia 760's
4 fans
water cooler
3 HD's
Mobo among other things

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Decent price

Cons: Started getting that really high pitched coil whine, and now whenever its under a high load (specifically, DA: Origins) the computer just shuts off! I've checked temps and every other componant, its the PSU!!!

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money on this. I've only had it a few months and now I'm having problems.

5 out of 5 eggsPower Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: This power supply is powerful enough to handle my needs and is comparably better than my old one. I like the Corsair brand and will probably purchase more in the future.

Cons: Shipping container (box) had air packets in and weren't sturdy enough to handle what looked like a fall. The box was dented and ripped, but the power supply was fine.
