5 out of 5 eggsSeems Like a Winner

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: My first modular power supply. This makes it easier to wire but ultimately even with the "flat" cabling it's still a bunch of cables. Looks good - is labeled so that the label reads correctly in a tower case with the fan up or down - Wow. Allegedly an 80 gold. Seems fine with my system - Sabertooth 990FX, FX6350 CPU, R9270 video card, 4 hd, 2 optical drives 2 SSD and 16 GB of Ram - Not significantly over clocking. 5 fans with H80i cooler.

Cons: Probably could have include one more Serial Power cable.

Other Thoughts: Modular power supplies allow you to run cables in a logical fashion. That said the cables (flat individual wires) as opposed to bundled wires) still include excess wire (and believe me often that's a good thing) so while an improvement over permanently wired units it's still not as clean as it might be. i am running an overclocking rig and it's important to have clean air flow. I've kind of become a Corsair groupie and have little to complain aboutt - never had a failure in 8-10 builds. Regards,

1 out of 5 eggsLooks Good...Doesn't last long.

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Easy to install.

Cons: Failed within the first year. I used it in a workstation to run 3D software and Graphic software. The computer would be on for 5-6 hours a day. Gave out after 9 months. Disappointed. I expected better quality from Corsair.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair RM 750

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This PSU is, to me, very nice to look at and being that it is fully modular made cable management nice as well. Came with every cable that I needed and was a breeze when hooking up my first build.

Cons: None that I can think of.

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: It's quiet, and it works. It's one of Corsairs better quality PSU's and well worth the money. Modular makes installation so much easier.

Cons: Bit pricey

5 out of 5 eggs750W Power Supply

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -- 750W's mean that you can put some powerful stuff in your rig
-- Considered a mid-range PSU ( I honestly believe that if you have no interest in doing SLI, this PSU will do a pretty good job at what you need)
-- 80+ Gold (pretty clean power if you ask me)
-- 100% Modular, very easy to place in your rig and snap in the cords

Cons: -- It has this thing called "Zero RPM Mode" which I only noticed when I saw it on the box when I got it, silly me, nether the less, I put it in my rig and, well, I have power, and the fan works too and it DOES have that 0 RPM Mode activate when it falls to a certain power usage.
Although this might not seem like a con, in my life I've seen things that are constantly running and they will not break, and I've seen things that start and stop (like its fan) break, just because of the stress of starting and stopping, I don't know, it might just be me but that's how I see it.

Other Thoughts: Bought this because I had a feeling I would upgrade my graphics card someday to something more powerful and requiring more plugs, this fits the bill perfectly for my EVGA GTX 780 Ti.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Quiet
-Perfect Power Delivery
-Fully Modular

Cons: Nothing I can think of

Other Thoughts: Corsair definitely delivers on quality of their products, I guess i'm a fan of their work you can say from cases to psu's. Corsair's power supply's are definitely some of the best i've used. I upgraded to this power supply from one of Corsair's CX models and I wasn't disappointed. This psu is silent under a 40% load and i've even when the fan spins up you don't hear it. Another satisfied customer!

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU, Not sure what newegg did to it

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Nothing bad to say about the actual product. It is exactly what it says it is, love that it's modular, looks very nice, cables are great (all black and FLAT for great cable management).

Cons: Came from newegg as an open box. This surprised me and wasn't happy. Box with the seal over the edge? Sliced through. Empty bag that the PSU used to be in jammed in there, who knows what was in it ,( I assume the PSU because it wasn't bagged), etc...

Was absolutely not 100% new. Clearly open box. I run from used PSUs so seeing this made me angry. I need to know my PSU is new...

5 out of 5 eggsHigh-End Power

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Black cables.
-Dead, dead, dead, dead silent.
-Really nice high quality finish.
-No "coil whine" or electrical static "white noise" even when heavy benchmarking.
-It's a Corsair product, top of the line service and products.

Cons: -Price is steep but you do get what you pay for.
-Cables can be hard to route if you have a sub-par case that is poorly designed for cable management, get a proper case!
-Active fan will not spin under a light load , do not worry when testing if the fan does not spin , it's normal.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU!

This review is from: CORSAIR RM Series RM750 750W ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This unit operates dead silently! I bought it specifically for that reason. I have never heard any coil whine or even noticed the fan turn on. Stays very cool too. I seldomly game and don't OC, but I use two 23" monitors at all times for classwork and Microsoft Office. Modular cabling is very convenient and gives you options for cable management.

EVGA GTX 760 2GB
Corsair 350d
Noctua NH-U12S (on its way)

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: The supplied cables are good quality, no complaints. If you enjoy tidy cable management, I would invest in Corsair's braided cables which are sold separately, for they are easier to manipulate than those which the PSU ships with.
