5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Works as intended. Perfect if you don't unplug/replug a lot as it wears down like everything else.

Cons: Price I guess?
Not enough ports!

Other Thoughts: LED light acts as my nightlight

2 out of 5 eggsGreat ... for a while

Pros: Fast and compact. Spec claims 1.0/1.1/2.0/3.0. That's a plus, but I never used it on a slower port. USB 2.0 disks worked great with it though on a USB3 port.

Cons: Failed after several months of use. I had two, each of which developed poor reliability and then simply failed after about 7-8 months. They should last longer. I wasn't even passing power thru them -- and never hooked up the power wart.

Other Thoughts: This is a near miss. I'd love these if they didn't fail. But they do.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: USB 3.0 Hub at an affordable price.

Cons: USB 3.0 micro cable is about 2' long. Power adapter is about 4' long. Why?

USB cable is not snug in the hub. Gets annoying when it decides to fall out.

Other Thoughts: I got a longer cable for the USB side and just use caution in wherever you mount it and hope the cable doesn't pop out frequently.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: When it worked it worked well (for 1 year and one month).

Cons: Burned out one month just outside of the 1 year manufacturer warranty. I don't know exactly what the cause was, but I believe the device should have more stability and lifetime than this.

Pros: None!

Cons: These things are JUNK !! First one had a loose "USB in" socket. The RMA replacement one is only a month old. Now it will only recognize devices intermittently. I have 3 thumb drives, a camera, an HTC EVO, Garmin Nuvi, and a couple other less common devises for work. I tried all of them.
It's not worth shipping again....going to smash it with a BFH and throw it away!

1 out of 5 eggsDissapointed

Pros: Looks good

Cons: Short cable, needs to be powered, and does NOT work with my Patriot Supersonic 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model PEF32GSUSB.

Other Thoughts: I know that USB 3.0 Technology is still new but that doesn't mean that the products can be shotty.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice Product

Pros: Very nice design. Fast speed comes with long cable. Aluminum case makes it look expensive. Easy setup and use.

Cons: Bright Blue LED light really lights up the area at night.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks for me .. but could be better.

Pros: The added convenience of the AC power adapter for charging my USB handheld devices is nice.
The overall feel of the device is, that it will last quite well, as long as I take proper care of it.
The USB 3.0 speed performance is noticeable.

Cons: 3 stars for 5 - 2 shortcomings.

The device-to-USB port cable is quite short, and I will need to purchase a replacement, as the current length makes placement of the device inconvenient on my desk.

Minimizing the devices footprint is an admirable effort, and though there is room for the cables to my handhelds to plug in side-by-side, there is not sufficient room for my SanDisk Cruzers to go in side by side.

Other Thoughts: I am not overly thrilled with the short interface cable, or the absolute bare minimum spacing between ports.

The spacing may not bother most, but since I have an 8GB Cruzer for each class I take per semester, it is somewhat inconvenient to not be able to just come home and plug them all in at once and re-synch with duplicate folders on my HD, and buzz through homework projects, as I had intended when I purchased this.
