4 out of 5 eggsyears of use

Pros: its very cheap
I have been using this psu for about 4-5 years now. I am a gamer and my pc is always on.
fan control knob
sleeved cables
blue l.e.d.s
still powers on.

Cons: for the price and how long iv been using it on a daily basis the cons are nothing to me.
the rear 80mm fan is going out, it stays still after start up but if I blow on it or push it ,it will spin
the plugs are out dated like crazy, iv got 3 plug adapters in use.
it isn't modular
it's loud when the fans are turned up
it gets pretty warm fast. the air coming out of the back fan is too hot in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsLights

Pros: This is the coolest looking power supply ya can get perfect for mini itx or micro atx builds with side windows i took a gamble and i'm glad i did
the cables are really cool to see going through your case when neatly organized.

Cons: my only 2 cons is i wish they made it in higher wattage id really love to see a 1000 watt and 850 watt version. my second con is the power supple doesn't blow from the top or bottom but rather both sides its still cold but it i wish my case did have its hard bay in front.

2 out of 5 eggsLooks Aren't Eveything

Pros: looks sweet in my case adjustable fan speed nice LEDs

Cons: the 5V rail is bad in getting 5.4V volts which is not good couldnt see it lasting longer than 2 years. also the pins on the kinectors are just slightly to large yu really have to work to make a connection to your motherboard, videocard, etc.

Other Thoughts: I leaned toward this PSU because it was on sale and looked awesome buut you cant judge hardware just on astetics i guess.

4 out of 5 eggsKinda loud, but a good PSU.

Pros: Looks really cool if you want lights in your case. The wire looms glow from the fan lights, and other blue lights that I have in the case. It powers my AMD 3.4mHz quad core, Radeon R9 270 3GB, 16GB RAM, two case fans and two HDDs.

Cons: Loud and a little bigger than my factory 300W PSU. If you have a mid size case it will fit, but it will be a tight fit. With this and the new GPU I have, I will probably have to get a full size case so the computer will run a little cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm very suprised

Pros: I didn't expect alot from this PS and I must admit it has surprised me. Its turned out to be rock solid.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: I used this unit to build my stepson a new Haswell machine. Its just a Pentium but with other case lights, a H60 closed loop cooler, two SSD's, one mechanical mass storage drive, a Nvidia 750, two DVD writers and multiple USB devices, this PS is everything I hoped for and more.

The colored fans inside the unit are bright enough for him, and the sound they make are acceptable. It's not modular but it doesn't advertise to be so I don't understand why people complain in their reviews about this. I have been through the waranty process with another Apevia product in the past and for me it was painless and they were more than fair with me. All in all they are a great company to do business with. If I was building another low budget machine that need a little "Bling" I would buy this unit again.

One last note: If you planning on running a 4770K with a GTX 780 then obviously you need more power and more stability. A common mistake novice builders make is skimping on their power supply. In most cases with this hobby you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked first time (always good) Good stable voltages.

Cons: fans are noisy - low speed settings, case is sitting on floor under desk, bottom mount power supply - but I'm hard of hearing - it is annoying really

Other Thoughts: I have some 80mm fans lying around quietly....time to let Dr. Frankenstein loose in the tool room :-)

5 out of 5 eggsNiceeeee

Pros: This is a great power supply for a medium power computer. I have it running on my gaming computer with an AMD Radeon HD 5770, 8GB RAM, and an AMD Phenom II x4 945. The colors are cool and the wires are UV sleeved. The fan controller is great. It has two fans that intake from the inside and exhaust out. That way it functions as an internal fan exhausting the computer's heat and it's own heat out. Good design. Has all matters of protection

Cons: If you're using a newer chassis where the PSU's are mounted on the bottom of the case, the viewable window of this will be facing the bottom of the case and you wont be able to see it unless your case has a huge window.

Other Thoughts: It's old but good made in 2005 I believe

4 out of 5 eggsGood Look, Fan a little noisy.

Pros: Good look, plenty of available power plugs. Fan speed adjustment.

Cons: A tad bit noisy even with fan turned down.

Other Thoughts: I used this in my HTPC mini ITX case. The look is cool and illumination looks good in my entertainment center. I would consider this a power supply for someone who likes (BLING) over high quality supply. You can still hear that fan humming even with controller turned down. Not too good for someone who is using it to present HD video and Audio from an HTPC. As for reliablilty time will tell how long this baby will last. It is doing the job and the price is very resonable.

5 out of 5 eggsKeeps going and going and going and ...

Pros: I thought I bought this on Newegg, but it looks like I picked it up elsewhere back in 2005. The PSU has gone through 3 or 4 PC upgrades from the old socket 939 athlon, core2duo, and 2x i-series CPUs and respective peripheral hardware upgrade.

After 8 years, this thing just keeps going and going and going - never encountered anything resembling an underpowered system even up to an i7 running a radeon 7950. Didn't give out, but had to retire it as a backup PSU since the cables didn't reach and have sufficient plugs for my new setup. Regardless, 8 years of use of 12+hrs power/day and most recently, 2 years non-stop as an HTPC and file server.

It's pretty dusty now, but have never had to do any maintenance or cleaning on it.

Cons: Loud both visually and audibly - even with the fan set to the lowest setting, it still created an audible whirr, and I really didn't need the blue glow - wished I could turn it off. Also since the case is half clear, you can see dust accumulate.
