5 out of 5 eggsNiceeeee

Pros: This is a great power supply for a medium power computer. I have it running on my gaming computer with an AMD Radeon HD 5770, 8GB RAM, and an AMD Phenom II x4 945. The colors are cool and the wires are UV sleeved. The fan controller is great. It has two fans that intake from the inside and exhaust out. That way it functions as an internal fan exhausting the computer's heat and it's own heat out. Good design. Has all matters of protection

Cons: If you're using a newer chassis where the PSU's are mounted on the bottom of the case, the viewable window of this will be facing the bottom of the case and you wont be able to see it unless your case has a huge window.

Other Thoughts: It's old but good made in 2005 I believe

4 out of 5 eggsGood Look, Fan a little noisy.

Pros: Good look, plenty of available power plugs. Fan speed adjustment.

Cons: A tad bit noisy even with fan turned down.

Other Thoughts: I used this in my HTPC mini ITX case. The look is cool and illumination looks good in my entertainment center. I would consider this a power supply for someone who likes (BLING) over high quality supply. You can still hear that fan humming even with controller turned down. Not too good for someone who is using it to present HD video and Audio from an HTPC. As for reliablilty time will tell how long this baby will last. It is doing the job and the price is very resonable.

5 out of 5 eggsKeeps going and going and going and ...

Pros: I thought I bought this on Newegg, but it looks like I picked it up elsewhere back in 2005. The PSU has gone through 3 or 4 PC upgrades from the old socket 939 athlon, core2duo, and 2x i-series CPUs and respective peripheral hardware upgrade.

After 8 years, this thing just keeps going and going and going - never encountered anything resembling an underpowered system even up to an i7 running a radeon 7950. Didn't give out, but had to retire it as a backup PSU since the cables didn't reach and have sufficient plugs for my new setup. Regardless, 8 years of use of 12+hrs power/day and most recently, 2 years non-stop as an HTPC and file server.

It's pretty dusty now, but have never had to do any maintenance or cleaning on it.

Cons: Loud both visually and audibly - even with the fan set to the lowest setting, it still created an audible whirr, and I really didn't need the blue glow - wished I could turn it off. Also since the case is half clear, you can see dust accumulate.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: See through, fan speed adjuster, compact, such an awesome PSU, granted I've only had a few days, but it's cable management is good, long cables for mobo, my case is a bottom mount PSU and cables are long enough to go around my GPU.

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: So far so good, I got this on a steal, a 500w PSU for only $39.99!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks, just not for all full tower builds

Pros: Seems to work fine and it looks cool in the right system, plus the price was right.

Cons: Not recommended for most full tower builds. The cables just aren't long enough to reach. I have a full tower with a bottom power supply mount, and the ATX12V cable is about 6 inches too short, I actually had to buy an extension. The main ATX power connector was just long enough, but with no room to route the cable neatly.

Other Thoughts: Decent enough quality, especially for the price. But if you have a full tower with a bottom mount power supply, look elsewhere. The lack of cable length is it's only fallback.

5 out of 5 eggsbest for lit cases

5 out of 5 eggsBest psu you can buy

Pros: Love this psu got mine in 2005. I run it an average of 8 hours a day 24/7 since I bought it. I used it in 3 different builds and it is still 100% functional .the fans are powerful and keep it running low temp and the fan control is awesome for quick adjustments during heavy gaming sessions. Not only will this thing out live you're dog, you and you're future children it will look B/A doing it.

Cons: My wife is jealous of it

Other Thoughts: Throw this in a clear panel case loaded with blue led fans and lights to have a glimpse of the light of heaven

5 out of 5 eggs3 years and going strong

Pros: I've had this PSU since my first build 3 years ago! Looks amazing in my case (Apevia jupiter) When I purchased this, it was rated at ~550W and had the PCIe connector. I use this thing non stop all the time and I play a decent bit of games.

Cons: Fan controller is iffy and has been just about since I got it, but that's fine. The PSU also gets kinda warm

Other Thoughts: I'm currently running:
Phenom x4 965 OC'd @ 3.7Ghz
1 Crucial m4 64gb SSD,
2 HDDs,
1DVD drive,
3LED fans
2 x 2GB of OC'd OCZ SLI 800mhz ddr2 @ 950MHz/ 4-4-4-15
XFX HD 5770 1GB

Seems to hold it's own. notice the 16A and 18A on the 12v rails; That's pretty good for a mid-range system.
