1 out of 5 eggsGood fire starter

Pros: It worked well for 1.5 years.

Cons: Caught on fire today after I moved my PC 6 feet and plugged it back in again to the same socket in a surge protector.

Other Thoughts: Other than the catching on fire part it worked great.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: Still runs great after 3+ years. Reliable and the blue lights are always nice.

Cons: Dust can collect in the unit easily (which I assume is similar to all PSU's). Cables are thick and somewhat difficult to manage.

Other Thoughts: As I said, the PSU has been running for 3+ years, which is nice for $60. I do not feel that it manages power well, however, since my graphics card (GeForce 570) buzzes whenever it's pulling a higher voltage. I'm replacing it with a more modern model.

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you paid for

Pros: Worked for over 2 years. LED's are bright.

Cons: It started to break down after 2 years. It will constantly shutdown and restart my computer. It will make a loud pitch noise when it is overloading or on Idle which will drive you crazy!

Other Thoughts: Had to switch out a new power supply after 2 years

Pros: Lasted a year and 5 days. Didn't fry the rest of my rig

Cons: Caught Fire! thats Right FIRE!
Caught fire while gaming huge blue flash from under the desk then smoke then had to blow out a flame

Other Thoughts: I was happy with this when i got it a year ago and was satisfied with it it for that time but today to my surprise while playing crysis 3 i heard a loud bang with a blue flash and then the smoke proceeded. I had to blow out a flame in the unit! Just lucky that the rest of my rig was fine.DO NOT BUY!

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: It was cheap, and it looks good.

Cons: DOA. High pitched squeal coming from the power supply. The fan is also binding and sounds like it is rubbing against a wire, but it's not. It takes a while to spin up and get going, and then isn't doing much of anything once it gets going. Feels like a lot of heat coming from it. Going to RMA it but it's almost not worth it if you have to pay to ship this thing back... (shipping is 1/3 of the price tag) 700W? Doubtful.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: Used for over two years with no issues. Constantly on (pretty much) because of multiple users gaming.

Functioned fine.

Cons: PSU died after about two years of use frying my motherboard with it.

Motherboard was due to be updated and PSU did have extensive use. Not very broken up about it.

Other Thoughts: Light went well with my case and wasn't too overpowering. Had a high pitched whine at times.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

Pros: Bought this PSU for my newest computer build because with the rebate (Which did actually come back to me in 8 weeks) it was only $40

Looks really sleek and the blue lights match my case fans nicely.

Wasn't DOA and it performs as expected of a PSU.

Cons: Only con is that it does tend to make a high pitched whine sometimes when it's not being used and I docked an egg for it. I've got into a habit of switching it off after I shut down the PC to go to sleep.

Other Thoughts: Overall it does it's job as a PSU and I haven't had any performance issues with it at all in the 3 months I've owned it. I'd recommend it for the price, but if you have a bit more I'd suggest going with a higher quality 80 plus certified one for sure.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA junk

Pros: price. looks cool with blue light.

Cons: DOA. why cant they test these things?? My whole schedule is ruined because of this, client has to wait for his pc because of this junk. Now i have to pay to send it back.

Other Thoughts: Apevia really disappoints, i used to trust this company, bought pPSUs from them before.

Phone support is fast, but what can they help me with if this thing doesnt work out of the box.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Price. Performance. Looks good. Quiet fan.

Cons: Sometimes makes a high pitched whine. Very small, doesn't bother me. The power switch broke on day 1, luckily it broke in the on position so no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Solid PSU. I would recommend this to a friend. Only docked an egg for the power switch.
